Thank you! Bought a frame from Amazon but there were no instructions. Luckily I found your video and we are now in business! Thanks again! Hope they are paying you.
Glad I could help you out- We will call it even by you smashing that SUB button :)
How do you only have 27k subs? When I found your channel I thought you were waaaaay higher then that…. This is a crime.
A crime indeed - BUT slow and steady wins the race I guess ha ha ha
Make sure to SUB so it becomes 27,001 subscribers for me ha ha ha
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the frame tips. I’m going to check on them right now!
I know you will love them...
My friend just bought 3 for his art to hang in his house.
These are great and even simple enough for me to assemble 😄 Thanks! And BTW, I agree... top hat and monocle were totally worth it. It speaks to my love-of-everything-old-timey heart.
Glad you like them! They are fantastic.
Ha ha ha glad you enjoyed my fancy-E-Ness 😂😂😂
Top hat and monacle - definitely worth it! Thanks for the vid.
Glad you like them!
It really pulled the video together 🔥
Thanks for sharing this! Always love your videos!
Always glad to help you out.
Which color frame is your favorite?
@@WildCreates I would probably choose the black, but it all depends on the piece I would be putting in it. I create mostly fluid art these days 🙂
I am sure your fluid art would look great in these ❤
you are a really good artist!
Thank you - I hope the video helped you out.
Make sure to hit that SUB button for more awesome videos.
Cool
Glad I could help you out. Make sure to hit that sub button for more awesome videos
I bought 2 and they do assemble easy. Tks
Glad you like them... what color did you get?
One oak and one black
Heck ya... NIce.
Wow just discovered this channel.. thanks for loads of tips and useful info..pls can I request some more information on Gouache, jelly gouche and how to ise these..which is a good brand..if im looking for an opaque finish like poster colours but more vibrant is Gouache best option..thanks again
Glad my channel can help.
I sadly dont work in Gouache BUT I do have a few friends that do. Let me see what I can do in a future video featuring them.
Be sure to hit that SUB button to know know it goes live in the future 🔥
@@WildCreates oh that would be great..what are friends for eh!! Look forward to it
No prob - I like to help :)
Those frames look great but sadly not available in the UK :(
On the topic of finishing a canvas, how would you recommend cleaning an unvarnished painting of dust etc. ready to varnish? I don't know if water and waiting a few days is sufficient. A video on this topic would be great!
Try the link in the description - It should hopefully find something similar in your country. Or you can always try the manufactures website direct to see if they have a reseller in the UK.
As for you question... honestly I don't know ha ha ha.... I need to research this because I have the same issue with some of my early works that are not varnished.... I have a general idea but need to research to make sure its safe for us and the art.
Hit that sub button to know when it goes live when I make a video on it.
Thanks for the recommendation. I wonder if the command strips eventually "dry out" and lose adhesion? Is there other option screwing into the back of the stretcher bars?
All I can say is that my 3m strips have last 5 years now without issue, but I use the larger ones that I show in the video.
Yes you can screw into the frame too if you wish... the frame comes with guide holes and addition screws for that too.
@@WildCreates Thanks for the info! Glad to know they also come with the screws for more permanent works. All the best in your art and life!
Always glad to help you out
So you super glue the picture into the floating frame?
The glue is for sealing the frame together ( if you plan on keeping it together ). Then you use the 3M pads to mount the art to the frame.
Hope that helps 🔥
@@WildCreates Won't those dry out allowing the picture to fall out onto the floor? I would worry about that.
They haven't yet for me Provided you use non-heavy art
Their product page says framing requires screws and glue.
Use can use screws if you want but not needed for more light-weight artworks - If you plan to hand something heavy... then you can use screws ( which come with it)
Don't like the gap between the canvas and frame looks like a lose fit
That’s what a floating frame design is. It looks super clean when it’s on a wall when it’s floating. If it’s not your style then I would recommend just a normal frame
@@WildCreatesClearly knows nothing.🤦🏾♂️
That's a pricey frame!
Yeah, I was surprised that they were around $40 a frame. Like, I don't think the combined cost of supplies for the paintings are half that cost.
Honestly its not - you would be hard pressed to find a better floating frame of this quality. There are some cheap frames out there but the quality sucks & most wood floating frames for average canvas sizes start around the $60 to $100 mark.
