Stephanie, I cried the entire time🌹💞 My mom was in a facility for just over 5 years she passed in August 2019. I am thankful she is not experiencing this time, her dementia was advancing and she just wasn't able to remember. You are truly a blessing to everyone who has the good fortune to know you💓💖

I have dealt with anxiety and depression and the Lord gave me this for fear “ trust in me and ALL things ARE POSSIBLE”...faith hope and love Just walk in it! I AM PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOUR KIDS! My daughter is working from home right now and she has really bad asthma and my son is back to work today. He works in a clinic type facility for stuff like mammograms and helps patients make appointments. He rides a motorcycle and that scares me and makes me pray. I went to school to be a nurse , worked in the nicu I wasn’t emotionally strong enough so I because a pharmacist. My aunt is a nurse in a nursing home . It’s the same nursing home my grandma is in . It takes a strong powerful women to be able to be a nurse and especially during this time . Thank you for all your hard work and as a pharmacist I feel I’m more at risk also but not as much as the actual people caring for them . My aunts nursing home has covid patients my grandma is not one . My aunt who raised me and is like my mom is working and treating the covid patients . Be safe girl we will all get through this but it’s hard and I understand I’m now taking meds for the severe anxiety I have .

Sometimes people in the World have troubles that aren't inspiring to us & create sadness. Sometimes not a fault of their own (family/education/medical, etc.), the troubled path they walk; sometimes self inflicted. Regardless, we can't dwell on the sadness, but should be aware of how thankful we should be for ourselves. We are what we make of ourselves. I always think of "What could I do to help someone?" Always look up to the sky, some days are dark & cloudy, but the majority of the skies in the World ARE bright, blue & FULL of Sunshine 🌞🌞🌞!! Stay Safe!! ☺

I know it has to be so hard not seeing your children. Tried to FaceTime them or use the Marco Polo app to see them as much as possible. I’m sure they are missing you too. Keep hanging on to God’s promises. He loves you, your children, and the residents so much. He will protect all of you. You’re covered by the blood of the Lamb. Put on you full armour of God daily. We arent getting new ones where we are for now homes here with covid-19 can take new covid-19 Our facility is utilizing face time, I pads ,calling Even letters and cards they can come in to drop things off at the front desk but they cannot see the resident. Some family members were going to the residents windows that was quickly discouraged for the obvious reason but it is very hard on them one lady actually thought her husband left her that's when she kept saying, thats how she felt. We have to wear masks all activities continue they just have to do it in smaller groups they do the nail painting the music they don't do the movie they've been going Room to Room doing reading and playing music and having discussions and we all have to wear a mask and write mail all meals are served in the rooms if they are Wanderers and wander out into the Hall they have to have a mask on because some of them won't be still so they have to be given a mask and come out into the Hall.
Sad and emotional, brave and strong, but life still has to carry on. Bless you and you're family, we are all in this together. I admire you for what you're continuing to do because personally for me I would of left and I was only a domestic. So Well done you. Take care 👍💕

Oh sweet girl, its ok to cry because it comes from a loving heart. It might be bad right now but this to will pass. Stay strong be safe and you and yours will be fine. If you need someone or a person to talk to I'm not far from you in Dayton. I had to grab my phone and message cause I saw that cry and that's a real heart felt cry, it's ok.

Stephanie, I have to work out in this also. I just got through saying If the Blood of Jesus cant cover me then nothing else can. I remind myself everyday..HES GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS! There is nothing going on that God dont know about. He also knows about you.*I know u know that) I sometimes grab my guitar and start singing. Girl sometimes we just have to encourage ourselves in the Lord! Lol That's right we r here to share the love of Jesus.

I take care of my Aunt and my Husband has Copd so I am trying so hard to keep both of them safe and not carry anything to either of them. Stephanie, you are such a special lady. Not everyone has the capability to be a health care worker. You are doing such a wonderful job being in the front line. I know it has to be so hard not seeing your children. Tried to FaceTime them or use the Marco Polo app to see them as much as possible. I’m sure they are missing you too. Keep hanging on to God’s promises. He loves you, your children, and the residents so much. He will protect all of you. You’re covered by the blood of the Lamb. Put on you full armour of God daily. We arent getting new ones where we are for now homes here with covid-19 can take new covid-19 Our facility is utilizing face time, I pads ,calling Even letters and cards they can come in to drop things off at the front desk but they cannot see the resident. Some family members were going to the residents windows that was quickly discouraged for the obvious reason but it is very hard on them one lady actually thought her husband left her that's when she kept saying, thats how she felt. We have to wear masks all activities continue they just have to do it in smaller groups they do the nail painting the music they don't do the movie they've been going Room to Room doing reading and playing music and having discussions and we all have to wear a mask and write mail all meals are served in the rooms if they are Wanderers and wander out into the Hall they have to have a mask on because some of them won't be still so they have to be given a mask and come out into the Hall.

Stephanie I know how u feel I worked in a nursing home 2 years ago. I Loved the patients. The smiles on their face when they would see us was worth it all some of them we were the only family they had. Stay strong and thank you for what u do.
