I have very aggresive breast cancer. Im also handicapped and cant walk very well. Im facing more surgury and have bad burns from really strong radiation used because of massive hematoma surgeon caused. I lost my insurance as soon as they found out about cancer. Im starting to get really really high med bills in. I do alot of worrying about everything im going thru. Jacob, your videos and everywhere you go, is my way of getting out and seeing them too, thru you. You help so many people out there. Everyday, I wonder what i will see this day. It helps to calm my worries for a while. Please please never stop doing them. I know there are times you want to stop. But your really helping so many of us. Love you Jacob. Thank you so much. Those giant figures have a special place in my heart. As i grew up in the 60s and 70s, my parents took us on a road trip every summer!! Seeing those towering giants meant we would stop to fill up our tank, grab a snack, and enjoy the sights!! Honestly, it brought back my childhood. Thank you

Loved the Giants, and it's incredible to see one arcade nowadays, let alone two, and with pinball no less. If I still lived in Illinois, I would absolutely be in Volo tomorrow. Also, if you feel like pizza, I can't recommend Lou Malottis heavily enough.

Atlanta is a neat, quiet town. I filmed an Illinois Route 66 series last August. It was a fun trip!

Awesome video! I'm sad I'll miss you at the Volo Museum on Sunday because I have to work, but I'm looking forward to seeing your adventures in my neck of the woods! I live right on Route 66! There is a new photo op in Countryside, IL on Joliet Road for Rte. 66. Also, did you know the Marx Brothers grew up on a farm here? There's not much mention of it, but there is a mural in Texas Roadhouse. Safe travels!

There's a giant pirate man at a boat dealership near where I live. He was originally at a mini golf place that closed down. I wonder if he belongs to these types of giants.

Stop in Springfield IL. There is a nice lighted Route 66 display in the state fair grounds, a great museum at Motorheads, Shea's gas station museum just opened May 21st, the Ace Sign Company Museum, there is plenty to see!

Thank you for this one. Now I know where to find the gleaming white service station from my dream, I knew it was some where in the mid west. I don't often dream in Technicolor all my dreams are in black and white, but that one. I even remember the warm road under my bare feet. I awoke before I could see what was inside, mystery now solved.

Cartersville Georgia has the Tellus Science Museum and the Savoy Automotive Museum. Both are super cool places. You should check them out👍🏼

There is a Muffler Man at a local tire store here in Wichita. It's been there for decades. Of course, the Muffler Man is holding a pair of tires. And it's WHEAT SHOCKERS - the Wichita State University mascot.

I actually live not too far from the Joor Muffler man in Escondido California. He is still holding his Muffler, and he's in pretty good shape!

Love that part of the Route. When I was in Atlanta (much cooler than that place in Georgia), I had lunch at the Palms Grill. The Grill had counter service along with booths. While I normally would have sat at a booth I was on a Route 66 road trip and decided to be different and sit at the counter. I was really glad I did, and had a great time talking with the pretty waitress.
She suggested I check out the museum in back, which I did, and also went up the stairs and found myself in what must have been a Mason's lodge. Sadly the Palms closed, a victum of the pandemic. I noticed the sign in this video and was hoping Adam would say something about it, but he didn't.
I know EXACTLY when you and Adam were doing the Route, it was the first few weeks of April, 2018. I was doing the Route at the same time you were, just in the opposite direction.
I was so happy to see this video pop up, I really want to visit this museum, I could not make it yet
