Ruby will need a sweater/coat soon. Thank you for the walk along. The Falls are so pretty. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing you in the new year.🙂
So far, she's been doing fine in the cold weather... even when it was in the single digits above 0 when we were our for our morning walk. She's handling the cold much better than Sam ever did :D . I'm actually thinking of taking her camping soon as long as this mild (for us) weather continues... something I would have never even considered with Sam. Thanks for watching!
Happy New Year to you as well! I love that trail to Kawishiwi Falls. The landscape here in Iowa looks amazingly similar to yours... virtually no snow cover. Lets hope for some snow so we can refill those rivers for paddling in 2024!
Since I made/posted this video, we did get a dusting of snow and lower (but still mild for this time of year) temps. Result is that the ground is mostly white now. Supposed to get about an inch more on Saturday -- we'll see how that pans out. Still no where near what we should be seeing. Hope we don't have another paddling year like 2021!
Hey, Larry good to see you out with the new pooch long leads and all. I look forward to the next Boundary waters. Thanks for all your adventures - keep em coming. Here's wishing all the best for 2024. See you out there. Mark
Getting out of her harness is just one of her tricks! She actually managed to get out of her crate the first time we left her alone! Yep, I've called her Houdini more than once. Thanks! Happy New Year to you as well!
Thanks Jeremy and welcome back! Ruby's definitely a "gem in the rough"... not as easy going as Sam was but I know she'll be a great partner eventually :D
I hope you have some Ice Skates ! That would be a great way to cover a lot of distance, easily ! Yeah, I miss the snow a little too, so I floated the river yesterday. 🙂 Happy New year !
My ice skating days are well behind me now but I have been considering taking up ski-jouring ... if we ever get enough snow. Or, maybe just take her along snowshoeing. So far, she's proving to be a lot more cold tolerant than Sam was. I haven't checked the rivers here lately but doubt there's enough open water to float. Happy New Year to you too!
Looking forward to another year.
Me too! Hopefully, I'll have more adventures this year than I did last... :D

Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your Beautiful Falls pics! Yes, strange weather we’ve been having indeed.
I sure hope the weather gets back on track soon! I want to do some winter stuff!

Hi Mark! I'll try to keep the adventures coming. All the best to you in 2024 too. Larry
@@nibimocs Morning Larry, Nice one mate - look forward to them.
You might have to call her Ruby Houdini, magically getting out of her harness! Thanks for taking us along, nice shots of the falls. Happy New Year!

Excellent video like always. Been out of the country so haven’t had a chance to get your latest vids. Glad you have another trip partner after Sam
