Back in my college days 2 yrs ago we had a stop motion animation project and we didn't have DragonFrame so we used Adobe Premiere Pro to cut the duration of the photos we took to make it frame-by-frame. It takes a long time but it worked quite well.

idk why I'm replying this late but stop motion is an irl frame by frame video. this loop is digital so it makes it a frame by frame animation.
