As a cinephile I love behind the scenes (bts) and this one is as immersive as ever before. The amount of effort and love put into this film makes me appreciate it more. From Javier's performance and personal touches, to the costume designing and character CGI, everything. It's amazing. 10/10. Just sad the entirety of Salazar and his crew, even the ship weren't dealt properly. They all deserved better treatment in terms of being in the film.

What i thought was kinda weird in movie is that curse brought them from the dead after exlposion, so if course broke wouldnt they be dead at the end of the movie bcs the curse was basicly only thing keeping them alive
0:00 I think this scene would have been way better with this eerie wind-like ambience instead of the track they used. The actual scene in the movie is kind of ruined with this great but also overbearing epic villain theme, when it should have been this simple, creepy ambience.

Each film felt like 3 different versions of the same concept, skeleton zombies, eldritch abomination zombies, and ghostly zombies for Salazar and his crew. Not that that's a bad thing.
So much work... For a film that flopped at the box office and had a poorly written script. If the film was a good one like the first one, we would have a good chance getting a sixth one but well, Disney did a mistake.
I agree, they made this amazing villan with his ship and story, but it was poorly executed by a underwhelming script. All the other pirates movies are great, but this was a bit underwhelming. Such a shame since its the best villan ever
Javier Bardem is like a spanish Gary Oldman, the dude can do literally, ANYTHING

Normally when I watch pirates of the caribbean I usually watch it only for Jack but I wanted to watch this one mostly for Salazar

Yeah that would be scary. But his theme song is the best in the whole franchise

Potc 4 and 5 just weren’t the same without Elizabeth and Will.
Didn't miss them for one second, didn't even realise it tbh. We had Salazar, Barbossa, Sparrow and the amusing king - much better characters, imo.
