Pro-tip: If you're cutting down threaded rod (or a bolt, etc..), put a nut on it before cutting, then turn the nut off the cut end. It'll help straighten any threads that were damaged during the cutting.
Yes I would have done this as well but later on (not shown in vid) I took all the rods to my disc sander and gave them a chamfer so all damaged threads went away that way. But what you say is an excellent idea in most other case!
Just bought your plans, by far the best design I have ever seen. Can't wait to get my shop up to par. Thank You for Sharing your idea's with the world!
Brilliant idea about putting something heavy in the back of the draw when fitting the draws to the slide. I had slight height differences the other day and couldn't work out what I done. But it was ok. Thanks for sharing
Hi! Excellent design AND excellent instruction! There are a lot of people who are good at making things but the number of people who can DO ***AND*** TEACH is much smaller! Well-done!
Super ideas! Has inspired me to make something similar. Imagine the circular saw catching your glove - the mess it makes to your hand will keep the surgeons busy for a long time. Never use gloves when working with turning tools. Keep on sharing your projects!!
I am so happy i found your channel. Thank you for the inspiration. My shop area is roughly what your shop is and your ideas of mobility is exactly what i need. I will be buying your plans for all of these. You sir are a master
In the future, layout the cut lines for the Drawer Fronts first, and then position the biscuits sho they are not near those cut lines. Nice job on the easy commentary to follow.
Excellent idea for all my power tools that way I can use all of my work bench. But I do have an Idea if you want to try I sure am. The drawers become one drawer and this drawer is the dust and material collections bin and it can hook up to your dust system or other source of collection system that you have I.E cyclonic system.
Thought for a moment during the biscuit installation that we were going to hear some Swedish cuss-words! Nice job on the cabinets. I especially like the leveling bolts - that's a great idea!
Mine was like that in the beginning as well. Many things are still just in my head and i really look forward to build more things :) You can do it to, its all about taking the first step and the rest just come by it self, you can do it! Good luck!
@DesireToInspire1 I've been an off and on maker since I was a kid. My husband wants me to build out the garage so that most all of our stuff is in cabinets, and I have a dedicated place for all my tools and a small shop.
I really like this setup! I've been considering something along these lines. And the modular aspect with all of the tool beds at the same height is great.
Nicely done. Love the leveling feet idea. I wonder about the risk of having such a high center of gravity. In my shop, I’d be afraid of tipping after hitting something small on the floor. I’ve seen people use concrete, bricks, or steel weights to stabilize the cabinet.
I thought a lot of this but could not come up with a good solution for only 19/32" plywood top. Closest solution i could come up with is to glue barring in the top and glue the rods in the barrings but that did not feel solid enough.
Wearing gloves with hands close to spinning blades is dangerous. If the blade catches the glove, it could easily pull your hand and arm into the blade very quickly.
As usual, I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work! 👍🏽 But this isn't your best moment: th-cam.com/video/PxZbTHOm2jg/w-d-xo.html 🙄 You only have 1 right hand, you know. It's kinda useful too! 🙂 Everybody makes mistakes. But not all your viewers know it's not very smart to use your hand there.
Thank you so much for your concern! I'm extremely aware where my hands are when I am close the the saw. It might look close but it actually far away, I would never do anything to risk hurting my hands. The times when I am close the the saw blade, I prommis you, my concentration is 100% on where my hands are. Again thank your for your concern and thanks for watching and pointing this out!

Love the idea of the adjustment bolts. Great job. Thank you.😊

Beautiful work and great idea! All of my big tools are on rolling cabinets. It sure makes working in small areas a lot more efficient.

Thank you so much!
The build is simple but the explanation is genius 👍
Thanks :)
Wow bravo! I'm experiencing the same problem. Very nice job for cabinets, I'm going to take inspiration from it!

Yes the space below it can be used for anything. Having a shopvac it would also be an excellent idea!
Lots of great ideas. I really enjoyed watching.

Thanks! I used the same idea on my workbench for my mitre saw.
Nice build. That should make your shop a lot more functional. Subscribed!
Really nice work, and a good pace and narration for the video. Well done, young man. Subscribed.
Very systematic approach. I love it!
I'm really liking this idea. Right now my shop is only ideas on paper.

Nice work and easy going presentation, enjoyed watching and subbed from Australia 👍
This is very helpful! Thanks for posting.
I'm glad you liked it :)

Yhe i love it, it is so handy when the workbench i have can offer great support for longer boards.
Loved the content very informative 👍👍
Great idea and great job
Brilliant. SUhc a great work 👍👍

I have so far not experienced it to be unstable. When adding tools to the drawers then it became even more stable.
Thank You!
I'm interested in that excel spreadsheet you used.
Where do I buy that blue pocket hole jig? It's awesome! Got a link? I can't find that exact model anywhere. 2:15
Great idea!
As always great work
you can also just use a metal drill bit to enlarge the hole. that will more or less self-center
I have tried that but had very bad experiences on soft wood when i did that. It did not self center at all and kinda took its own path.
Perhaps the leveling bolts could have been accessed from the underside of the plywood top to
allow for an unobstructed top surface.

I just purchased the plans! How did you convert the data into a cut sheet?
For questions about the plans i recommend you contact me via Etsy. I use a free online tool: www.cutlistoptimizer.com/
Do you skript the Videos before? Awesome videos for a non native speaker. And of course good content to. Greetings from Germany
No not at all. When I tried to do so then it sounded so strange and unnatural. I found it easier to wing it :)
@@DesireToInspire1 Great Job I am impressed
How would these fare long-term when compared to a fully framed cart? I may have been overbuilding things by miles.
They are super solid. When all joints are glued and it has a thick back sheet then I see no way for it to ever break.
Nice plans! Also...where are you from? I couldn't narrow it down.
Thanks. I'm from Sweden :)
Aha! Thank you :D @@DesireToInspire1
what pocket hole jig did you use? Thanks.
Its just some random jig from aliexpress i thought locked pretty :)
All you had to do was to drill a small hole then enlarge
Don't use gloves on a machine, it's very dangerous !! Keep your fingers.
Was thinking exactly the same thing
My first thoughts
TOP!-TOP! Könnte man vielleicht eine Übersetzung in Deutsch im Text einblende? DANKE!

Please don’t wear gloves when using the table saw. One wrong move and your hand will be dragged in.
Thanks for your concern! ♥
Please do not wear gloves at the table saw 🙂
You're only 50 years behind the rest of the world.
I'm not sure what you mean by that but thanks for watching :)
