- hi guys!!! So this is a video showcasing freya's best moments using her own power, not linked with Dahlia or channeling her siblings. Firstborns of Esther's bloodline are born with a massive amount of power, putting Freya very much ahead of regular witches and able to fight powerful ones.

I mean he even held back and snapped Marcel neck so he couldn’t prevent Freya from doing the spell on davina. Plus don’t u remember in s1 when Elijah killed agnus? Like I said rebekahs like klaus and Freya’s like Elijah not a mix of the two.

Right? Imagine though if she had been with her siblings the entirety of their 1000 years. and she was just as savage and bloodthirsty as they are, but still as a witch. Klaus would’ve never needed Bonnie for anything, never had to black mail her, because his ancient powerful older witch sister was with him to do all of that. And tbh klaus probably would’ve never went to mystic falls, or met Elena. Bc with freya, Katherine would’ve never be able to run from klaus bc freya could’ve did a locater spell, so Katherine would’ve never became a vampire, neither would Damon or Stefan or Caroline. Bonnie probably never would’ve found out she’s a witch. The entire vampire diaries universe would change if freya was an “original”, she’d be the actual original witch.
Thing is even thoug she is powerfule for certain spells certain blood type witches are the ones to do it. Like the bennet which line is soo powerful and c9nnectected to exclus8clve spells and magic so klaus would have neede her regardless

@@matthewnace8473 the magic effect in legacies are horrible tbh. They kept on dragging the Malivore bs too. They nerfed Kai too. I was kind of giving it a chance for season 3 but it was rather disappointing. Not going to expect much for season 4.

Magic was nothing but a tool for the vampires. Vampirism is magic itself! And funny enough all the originals had the potential to be the most powerful magical family of their age if it wasn’t for Michael and his ways.
At least they still loved her and she got her happy ending with her wife and son. She got what Bonnie deserved tbh (but freya still earned it too)

She was able to channel the power of all the NOLA ancestors to undo Luciens upgrade. Esther needed ancestors and a whole ceremony. Freya is a true first born Mikaelson witch.
she was able to withstand having the power of the NOLA ancestors without any consequences, Davina on the other hand, with only the power of 3 other harvest witches was self destructing. Freya is powerful af but the show failed to show us that

The fact Freya kicked a bunch of old vampires ass while she was DRUNKEN and in ASTRAL PROJECTION is just amazing. I mean, that's probably her most underrated feat since no one thinks that's a great feat although we saw how hard is to kick an old vampire's ass, in special in astral projection.
yes and also most normal witches cant snap the neck of an ancient vampire but freya easily does it

Vampires that are older have more dark magic in them, thus making all their abilities better then younger vampire, varies by age. An example is in the beginning season 2 Bonnie couldn’t to cast a pain infliction spell on Katherine because she was too strong.(more strength, durability, regeneration). This was why it was rare for the originals to have their neck snapped with magic. So yea this display of her snapping the necks of over a dozen ancient(500+) vampires while in a different country via astral projection is incredible.

Vampire diaries and originals handled magic so much better in terms of effects, and story telling. There was always much preparation, and it was always on a time frame. I loved how the made it feel like actual witchcraft.
what i love about freya and the mikaelson witches is that they could hold huge amount of power without being so overwhelmed. they are built for holding huge amount of power. noticed how freya have been doing a lot spells but it's more of exhaustion than what witches are when overwhelmed. freya doesn't get nosebleed as much she's mostly okay. she anchors but she's ok, she's stable

The only show that has a different magic effect is legacies. They should have continue the effects from The Vampire Diaries and The Originals because legacies look like something out of Nickelodeon or Disney

That alone puts Bonnie above Freya in raw power. Bonnie can break unbreakable spells, while Freya couldn’t even break Vincent’s powerful boundary spell. Bonnie was powerful enough to singlehandedly do something that required the entire power of a coven of 101 witches to do. She did it by herself. And she did it while she was in another town. What witch do you know can use their magic to physically affect something that’s in another town miles and miles and miles away? Bonnie also still had enough magic to drag the hellfire to where she was and even had enough magic to hold off the explosion. Could Freya do something like this with her own power? Hell no. She’s nothing to prove that she could. Bonnie’s mere body was also strong enough to channel the power of the entire Bennett bloodline dating back to biblical times. Can Freya’s mere body handle that level of power?
Bonnie’s psychic power was incredibly strong. She could see spirits that were within and outside her pocket dimension. She was strong enough to block the power of a 4200 year old psychic. He couldn’t also pluck Enzo’s soul from her dimension. She could also literally control the spirits of the dead with just her mind. Cade said that the creation of her pocket dimension was the most powerful thing he’s seen in 4000 years. Bonnie could read Kai’s mind from miles away. Bonnie could also sense his location from miles away and could sense when Elena was in trouble.
So how is Freya naturally stronger than her?

@@mazikeen1020 She never tapped into dark magic once the slumber broke, cause if she had, then she would've suffered consequences the way other witches have (unless they're pseudo immortal which didn't do or affect Freya or Dahlia's immortal bodies. In order to practice dark magic, she would have to tap into dark places, places of temptation as stated by Abby to help Bonnie. She doesn't use dark magic, read the official Tvdu wiki and it doesn't state that she practice dark magic.

To exemplify - The spell "Delfan eoten cor" which she performed required dark energy as it was ripping the victims heart out. Be reminded that Freya was using a special brand of Dahlia's connective magic whilst pseudo-immortal, too. Some witches can handle the effects of dark magic, some can't. Also the wiki you're talking about stated she's a practitioner of Dark Magic. If she doesn't use it, then she would be using traditional magic, and it has not been made canon.
The way Freya was able to reflect Inadu's spirit so easily is just amazing. I mean, even in spirit, Inadu was pretty powerful being able to cast spells, but Freya threw a potion on her which caused her a lot of pain. It wasn't her greatest feat, but it was still impressive since Vincent forced the NO witches to move from NO to somewhere else fearing for Inadu possessing them.
Freya had so much potential if only she followed Dahlias footsteps smh I mean she could’ve linked to Hope and became immortal again while channeling and empowering hope. They would’ve been unstoppable 🥲

Freya would've been an amazing Supreme if she was in the American Horror Story universe. Her knowledge of Norwegan witchcraft along with her skills she gained through her time under her aunt's toxic tutelage, she would've been a fierce protector and an amazing teacher of the Louisianian Coven.

The one where she fries the dude brain with Hayley she was channeling the power of five dark objects and the slumbering spell she drew upon a Klaus. All the other ones in this video is hers though.
That's kinda debatable since when she was channeling the dark objects you could see her moving her hands over the objects and closing her eyes. When she melted the brain she wasn't doing that so that's what I think she did it herself.

Uhm..? Most of New Orleans Witches practice Ancestral magic, Freya also sometimes draws power from ancestors, Esther also used ancesotrs to do everything and most of witches uses another sources of powers.
One of the video said Bonnie is stronger than Freya but the fact that Bonnie can’t harm the old vampires and original vampires but that’s easy for Freya. Freya can do strong rituals on her own magic but Bonnie needs ancestors to perform strong rituals.
Btw I’m a fan of Bonnie but I know the fact.

Bonnie has done many things with her own magic and has fought the devil himself. And don't forget, Bonnie had just discovered her powers and had to face Klaus, not like Freya who is a 1000 year old witch and had help to learn what she knows.

Also, it was confirmed Hope is stronger than Inadu, who is the strongest New Orleans witch to ever exist and who is much stronger than Freya in potent energy. Not too much on Bonnie or Hope.

So is understandable to put her as the most powerful, once she doesn't have another 2 supernatural parts as Hope and Bonnie. And if you stop to think, Chambre is almost like the dimension that Bonnie has created.

Once Dahlia died Freya got significantly weaker. She was able to locate Finn when he was in Vincent’s body while he was channeling an original and cloaked. She couldn’t locate Rebecca or Cami and she couldn’t do hard spells without channeling something

The Link and Slumber spell she did at the end of season 3, was not with her own power. The whole thing was being tied to Klaus’ power (his life force).
To do the spell you need magic lol and you can't see dark objects around or her channeling her siblings. Dahlia linked Freya to herself because she had the power of 2 firstborns. It's impressive seing Freya doing it alone while adding the Chambre de Chasse and to all of her siblings.

There’s no way that Freya (who didn’t have access to two augmented first borns powers) would be able to cast the Slumber Spell plus Esther’s link spell while creating a Chambre De Chasse with her own power when she wasn’t powerful enough to resurrect Davina on her own.

When it was time for her to escape, she told Esther she could channel Sage soaked in serpent’s blood to escape. That’s not a naturally powerful witch. Dahlia was only powerful enough to cast the Slumber spell after using Dark Magic to link herself to Freya and augmenting Freya’s magic for at least 18-20 years.

A lot of people failed to realize that the only reason dahlia was strong was because she had the sleeping spell, That increased her magic, while also channeling freya, a first born who was also under the same sleeping spell that also increased her power. Dahlia wasn’t a natural born powerful witch. They even explained it in the show dahlia turned to dark magic because she was weak and needed more power so no one can ever push her around again.

Its mostly Dark Magic, she is a born Dark Magic Witch...she can use it without getting corrupted by it.
It’s the same magic as both Delia and Esther it’s an old Norse Magic much more powerful than either the ancestors or harvest witches or Bennett magic. The Hollow was the only one who had a more powerful style of magic and of course Cade because he was the literal Devil
Traditional Magic, but sometimes she used to use Dark Magic. The only time she used Ancestral Magic it was in season three to undo The Serum spell.
