@@joannasams4294 he slaughtered millions of people, he would very often dagger his siblings, all because they speak or do something out of turn...and let's not talk abt how he butchered Katherine's family solely because Katherine, a teenager and a literal child, refused to let herself be sacrificed to serve Klaus' selfish purposes...one of the reasons why I really liked Klaus' redemption arc was because none of his past actions were excused...he wholly accepted that he was a monster and he fought to change for his daughter, with the help of Cami and his family...

She to me is one of the best characters in this TVD universe she is as ruthless as Klaus but as noble as Elijah can be as monstrous as Kol yet as kind and loving and gentle as Rebecca she even before Elijah was devoted to her family to family above all else no matter the price to herself
Then we see her in the end get her own family with Keelin and then in a way she helped raised Hope and then we saw in legacies she now has her own son...........
I loved her character the moment I saw her and I loved her Arc and ending she is one of the last Mikaelsons left of the original family

Even in season 2 , she was not able to be any useful against Elijah , not even close against Klaus. Elena would be dead already if it wasn't John who sacrificed his life. Moreover , she even was problem in many case. It's a rare case when she did something good. I've got a thousand other examples, it will just make it longer. Only thing that makes her look any good is her own exaggeration of things showing how benevolent she was.
Freya always put her family first because for a thousand years she didn’t have them. The moment she had them she put them above everything even herself. Over her own happiness and over her own life. Because as long as they were safe and protected Freya was happy and content. Freya was their protector and always will be. She can live without her innocence. She can’t live without her family.
She was an amazing and strong person. I loved her.

She quickly became a character we could all love and admire. Riley Voelkel did such an amazing job as Freya.
You know what I love about the originals is that all of the mikalsons represent a quality that we all have:
• Klaus’ ruthlessness and deep insecurities.
• Rebekah’s condition to fall in love too fast and too deeply.
• Elijah’s relentless want to put others before himself
• Kol’s self destructive erratic nature and ultimately feeling like the bottom of the pile.
• Freya’s somewhat cold and ruthless determination to protect her family and those whom she loves.
They’re all qualities that we resonate with which makes them even more incredible!

Freya is the Singapore of the family. She gives a vision to the Mikaelsons like Elijah, has a temper & ruthlessly goes against anyone standing against her family like Klaus, is kind and understanding like Rebekah, is talented in witchcraft like Kol & can make huge sacrifices like Finn.
She raised Hope and loved her like her own.
Later, she went on to become one of the last Mikaelsons standing and has a happy family of her own. Being Mikael's apple of the eye, there was a huge possibility of ending the feud b/w Klaus and Mikael due to her. Ofcourse her & Klaus's level of hatred for Ester are equal.
There are so many reasons why She's my favourite character of The Originals.

I love Freya, I think she and Keelin(her wife) should be teachers in Salvatore Boarding School. Freya is a 1000years old witch with extensive wide-ranging spell knowledge who is able to protect and teach the students. Keelin is a Werewolf who also is a doctor who can teach the werewolf pack and be the medical care for the school. And they have a potential witch-werewolf hybrids son who may also need a school one day.

@@aditibisht22 it's not the Mikaelsons' fault that Davina worked with Marcel for 9 months and condemned so many witches for public execution just for practicing magic, nor orchestrating the murder of 11 witches just because one of them disagreed with her rules (dictatorship much?). If the Ancestors hadn't shredded her soul because of the aforementioned causes then Freya or any powerful Witch could've resurrected her after disposing of Lucien.

it's amazing how Freya did just as much as Elijah would do for the family when Freya never even spent time with this family before.Elijaj,Klaus and Rebekah has been together as a family for 1000 years so it made sense to have that kind of bond.But Freya didn't even know them, STILL she did so much because the idea she had of finally having a family and finally getting them meant everything to her

I rewatch this so much. I love Freya with all my heart, I cannot believe the tvdu is about to end. At least with Legacies I had a chance on her return once in awhile, now she'll really be gone. Forever one of my favorite characters.
People forget that yes Klaus was abused but he wasn’t alone and had his siblings while Freya was completely alone with her abuser and tormentor and her siblings thought she was dead for 1000yrs

First i was shocked when Elijah and Klaus too allowed Freya to channel them knowing that she would know each and every secrets of their, but they trusted her. Later it was proved that they did the right thing by trusting her and did all the things an elder sister could do. Great sister, good spouse, good daughter, great Aunt!

I love Freya sm she is my fav character in the whole tvdu and originals and mikealson cos she got taken away from her family so she can have her siblings. She joined the family later on and didn’t even know them but still helped fight all the evil. She sacrificed her friends and life for them and she could of just walked away. She is so powerful and amazing and she does anything for her family ❤️❤️
