These videos are one of the best parts of my day. An excellent trip with entertaining factory visits and employee chats, all edited with skill. Well done FC! You deserve a break! 👏👏👏
I’ve never gotten excited by Scott bikes before but that new Foil is lovely. Integration of the rear light is a great idea. Love that camouflage paint job as well.
And thanks to you too Francis for bringing us the videos too. Always entertaining and interesting. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to see what’s next!!
And thank you too Francis - your videos make me want to "do more" too! (current status, packing my bikepacking bags for a weekend from Dunkirk to Amsterdam)
Always look forward to a new video. The pure enjoyment of what you are doing, even when you are suffering one way or another is contagious! Keep it up!!
Thanks for the videos! Especially the talks with the engineers gave a very unique and interesting insight in the aero design process which is rarely talked about (obviously)
This blog was very interesting to say the least. I mean how many people get to speak and ride with the actual designers of the Foil!! That in it's self is massive! I along with others on the comments will never be able to purchase such a bike, but hey, it doesn't cost to dream about it right? I don't know how you can make time to do so many things. Now I KNOW why you're so damn thin!! I have been following your long rides, with that very cool group of riders, which Alina was apart of. Excellent to see such biking adventure's. Note: Yeah, if the designer's had me along on that "lunch break ride" I would died twice at least!!
this was a really cool video. I loved the use of the ride over the voiceover. I know you’ve done that hundreds of times but this time it was just amazing
Great series Francis, enjoyed every second and privilege to feel like we were part of the trip. Haven’t watched telly whilst this has been on, already looking forward to the next adventure
Thanks again for another great video. Quite an eye-opener to hear that there are 500 single pieces of carbon in that frame. When you hear that you think, "How on Earth does that all stay together?"...which makes high-end carbon fibre even more incredible.
That is one sick bike! And yes, those guys look very fast, so great if the actual engineers ride along!. You can also tell by how they measure the time gain on their loop: One minute and something *** at 45 km/h *** (just below time trial pace...)
Was with my 83 y/o dad in an E bike shop a few months ago trying to get his old E bike fixed (they could'nt get parts - he sold it on Ebay for spares), and there was a new alloy Scott mtb in the showroom midway between 1 and 2 grand ish. I had a peek, frame sticker said....Made in Cambodia...
Looking at the brand new Scott and the frame designs of the very latest aero bikes, Gerard Vroomen (ex Cervelo, Open and 3T Bikes) established his name as ‘godfather of the modern aero bike’ once more. Cudo’s for this Dutch engineering guy! 👏🏻
whys that then? its long chain stay yeah? hahahahah let me guess your basing this on marketing BS and colour schemes? yeah cycle industry is just polished turds these days
I live right next to this viaduct, nice to see you on these roads. Never actually saw people singing and dancing there tho. 😆 Usually couples meet there in the evening and sit together on the edge.
Great! Another line of Scott bikes that won't be available. Still waiting for my Addict Gravel 2022 on AXS ordered in December. I could have any bike on this components, from any other brand in this time, from large companies like Canyon, Trek, Orbea, to 3T and even boutique brands. Scott sells shoes, sunglasses, and promo videos of bikes, that you can't buy. Grrrreat.
Always Appreciate These Episode And Stoked You Are Headed Home Feeling Inspired - Well Done Cheers P.S. That "Prototype" Foil Is Flipping Amazing With A Totally Righteous Paint Scheme There
A nice leisurely lunchtime ride, maybe not, can see why you're the only one joining them. Good insight into how UCI regs effect design. Safe journey home fir you and bikes👍
Hey Francis, great video! I rode over Viaduc de Grandfey (the train bridge) later that day with a friend and there was an unusually big crowd in the middle, it was a bit awkward to get through, but they didn't stop us. They looked strange at us and some people were laughing a bit, someone had a camera and others were filming with their phones, so I stopped to ask a girl what is this about. She said it was a show, they are singers and dancers and they are just about to start their performance. I asked if it's ok to cross or we ruined the show, but she said it was fine, it's part of the show that people cross because it's a public place. So probably they were rehearsing when you crossed there. Weird stuff.
@@Cade_Media Yeah :D Once on lunch ride (I also work at Scott), there were dinner tables in the middle of the bridge and people were having lunch, it was very strange as well :D It wasn't standard because we went there quite often at the time and I have never seen this happen before or after (or maybe they tried it first time and they realized it's a stupid idea because crazy road cyclists ride through there during lunch time)
The Bridge at 2:40 is a Viaduct for trains. The pedestrian/bike path runs under the train tracks. Or did you by „what this is“ mean what they are singing?
These videos are one of the best parts of my day. An excellent trip with entertaining factory visits and employee chats, all edited with skill. Well done FC! You deserve a break! 👏👏👏
Today: More amazingly looking bikes I'll never be able to afford 😂 . Thanks for the whole series, Francis, loved every single bit of it!
Same here I wish I am rich like them
Self pity is an occupational hazard fellas.... everything is possible 🤟🏾👍🏾
sell your dumb cars and you will
Start getting some onions. Next year they will be so expensive due to food crisis. I am collecting lots of onions
they didn't pay for them...
Scott to be some kind of magic innit
Just an excellent trip all around, Francis. You're a great ambassador & more importantly a really fun partner, both for these companies and for us.
I’ve never gotten excited by Scott bikes before but that new Foil is lovely. Integration of the rear light is a great idea. Love that camouflage paint job as well.
You can tell they are riders first. This was 90% riding, 10% interview which was awesome!
This generation of Foil is now in my list of dream bikes.
That pan down at 1:32 with the bike sprinting away - epic!!!
2:45 clearly it's singing ;) those new foil rc's are fast af

Brilliant bike packing series, I’ve loved every episode. You definitely deserve a rest.
The bike packing series and this Scott post have been great! 👊🏻

Really enjoyed these videos, the relationship between you three was a joy to watch, enjoy your rest, you deserve it.
We highly doubt that we can follow the engineers for the lunch ride 😂😅 Great video!
this was a really cool video. I loved the use of the ride over the voiceover. I know you’ve done that hundreds of times but this time it was just amazing

I loved this series, every evening (after a road bike ride) I was looking forward to your videos.
What an amazing few weeks of content you’ve treated us all to Francis, thank you!! DavidB
Thanks David!
@@Cade_Media safe travels back to the Toon!! Hope you’re having a few well earned days off when back too.
Awesome adventure, thank you for taking us along!

great set of videos, real pleasure to watch & be part of your trip.
Thank you for sharing.
thanks so much for watching Christopher

Francis, thank you!
Loving that airflow paint job, lovely looking bike.
You've spoilt us over these couple of weeks Francis; such great content! Thank you 😎
What a cool video! Great to see that the guys designing bikes like riding bikes too!
I have an older model Scott Foil Premium and I love it!
And both those paint jobs are freakin' amazing 😍
The whole trip was dope to watch

I am Francis and he is me… “I thought we were testing aero bikes, why are we about to go up that hill?" 😂😂😂😂😂🍻
Damn I just bought a BMC Teammachine SLR01 (AGR2) and now I'm lusting after a Foil!!! Good times!!!
This series was great! So much fun to follow!
Content has been 🔥🔥 recently!
thanks Sam!
The museum tour reminds me of when you visited Wilier - doesn't quite match up but cool to see Cav and AVV bikes
Digging the quiver of sonic arrows in your videos my man, great music... solid mix.
Loving your videos man! thanks for inviting us into the world of bikes. And that prototype paint job... absolutely stunning!
One of the best aero bikes out there at the moment!
whys that then? its long chain stay yeah? hahahahah let me guess your basing this on marketing BS and colour schemes? yeah cycle industry is just polished turds these days
I love this new Foil! I've gotta get one.
Those roads you were riding on looked awesome. Loved that paint job as well
That's one beautiful bike, sheesh. And we really don't have any reason to believe that they don't ride equally as well.
Thank you for this video series. More power to you, sir.
Absolutely loved this last week or so brilliant work.. I want a scot foil now.. with that paint job
Great videos, as ever. Interesting, funny, inspiring and insightful. Always look forward to what you'll post next. Thank you.
The camouflage looks so much better than the huge logos brands normally put on frames.

I really like the paint job. Those two look very useful, hope they made you work 😉
Hey Francis, summer is not over yet, mate! Get on out there. But rest up first. Super video!

Fantastic series, loved it!
That’s some lunchtime spin! 💪 Bike looks gorgeous, especially the one with the fancy paint job.
Wow, love the new Scott 😍
Great video as always. I will be cycling on lunch time if i have that view , route and bike 🚴🗻🌄
lots of interesting stuff in such a short video, I like that
Never has anyone been out with them riding. You have been had.
Great videos over the last few weeks! 🤘🏼 loved this bikepacking trip!
Scott should set you and Safa up for a descent with this thing somewhere in Europe. Dolomites perhaps? 👀
Class ! Loved all the vids from your trip!!
Beautiful cycle! My next bike!
Honestly, such a good mini-series, made even better by Chris and Ben’s coupons
the roads in switzerland look pristine
It simply looks gorgeous. Most aero bikes look chunky this is fast and svelte.
Awesome video. Bike looks great. Gotta know what saddlebag they were using..
love the videos dude, scott looks amazing
As well as salivating over all the bikes on your channel I now have "work garage" envy!
just a few bikes haha

Haha that's amazing. There were more at the other side of the bridge, definitely looked like performers of some kind... Interesting 👀

That bridge from 2:40 is actually really really close to my house hahahah. Its just a bridge and on top of it a train passes every now and then
Super nice series, and very fun
Oh sick, the engineers got the new dura ace rotors
Great series and another great video.
Bike looks fast sitting still 😁
Awesome series! Loved it
Awesome trip 👍 followed from beginning to end 😀
A great watch mate!

I thought you liked Switzerland and wanted to stay here ;-) Great Videos!
