I absolutely love that you had each layer of text separated in order to see the blur effects separately!! Brilliant
I love how you just kept adding to it, making more and more depth. I've always used the artboard setup like you have, backup copy of editable text and moving in (shift) steps. This tutorial is a much simpler yet precise way of getting that glow effect. I gotta try this!👍

A couple tips to speed up this workflow!: ALT+Shift+Drag to a new location directly above will copy your initial "NEON," then use CTRL+D repeatedly to duplicate this transformation however many times you'd like. When you're ready to stack them again after adding the blur, use the align panel to center each layer vertically and horizontally.

Thank you for showing us this, it's a neat trick and I'm doing it as we speak, although you could really really ease yourself a time and control by instead of doing duplicating layers and cludding info unecessary, use appearance pannel to just add multiple strokes. You have plenty control then when you can turn on off selected stroke and modify effect on each and every one, as well as stack them in order you want to. Cheers.

It was a very helpful tutorial. I didn't understand how to group the separate font with blur effects. After the effect if I'm trying to move the logo, only one later gets selected.

Awesome tutorial !!!! Is it possible for you to make a tutorial of how creating the effect of power lines like in amd rizen logo ? It is pretty similar to this, but glowing is in different intensities along the processor power lines. Thanks!
