Please may I ask, is the customs duty fee reasonable (less than 50% of the value of the item)?

If you are in Zimbabwe it’s not reasonable hence choosing shipping agents who will do everything pay transport and also customs duty. However I understand it depends with what you bring in for example when I brought in facial mask for Covid the customs wanted to charge my shipping agent extra money meaning I could have paid more than the money I bought this is one of the examples

I use the shipping agents who charge transportation and customs duty at once that way I know how to price my goods …you really right it’s becoming expensive by the day , hoping to get cheaper ways as well profits are not as good as they used to
