A music legend, genius. Classic Artist. "Promises for you to find. Computers will read your mind. The earth is ours for us to save. Tomorrow is another day." Cybotron and Juan Atkins should get a Noble Prize in Music. For creating music that has inspired millions and also gave a foundation to what Hip Hop music, for Poplockers, Breakers, lockers, and other styles of Hip-Hop dancers, should sound like; and the direction the music should go in. It makes no sense to hold any kind of Hip dance competition without Juan Atkins and Cybotron's music, Red Bull competitions, or otherwise. Because the Rap and Hip Hop music that is out now is not good for serious Hip Hop dancers. Or even live up to the standard. Cybotron and Juan Atkins, legends who have created a culture and a tradition of pure excellence. Red Bull competitions need to play the music that has a true spirit and not this anything goes Rap from some kid who has no respect for pure Hip Hop or the dancers of Hip Hop or fans of real Hop Hop. Peace

"Juan, Juan, Juan the man!" was our chant when we saw him in Glasgow. He smiled at that haha

It's funny to see how a musical genre that basically change the face of music worldwide can be created by a few group of people and a lot of coincidence, unusual situation and happy accident (and their creativity with those parameters of course).
This make me believe in faith and destiny but also it can be just an accumulation of coincidence that result in what's today, and same as creation of universe, it make sence and it look like it's suppose to be like that. But maybe with just few things changing (for techno, or universe, same principe) thing would be way different and we would still see this as the result of faith and destiny :)
Thanks for changing the world Juan, I make music that's far from techno now, but it's in my roots and it change my life 30 years ago, and put me where I am now, allowing me living of my music without having a proper training on "traditional instrument". Funny how few stranger like Juan, Derrick, Kevin and few other can iffluence so many people by just being them. Kind of sad that they don't have that much recognition as they deserve, by that's probably the "precursor curse", cause it seems to be usual in every genre :/

Is this interview laced with music so the vocals don't appear in 10,000 house/techno tracks?

I hate when folk have Christian upbringing, get to an age to actually think, know that things have turned politically-religious concerning those teaching that upbringing, & then either ignore or bash the Christ behind their upbringing, just to embrace a pseudo-Christianity. So sad.

I hate when people use the word "hate" and then go on with their own perception and opinion on the evolving religious preferences through a human's journey.
