Dude, I got it, this is how you setup 2 amps in Elements using NAM, the moderator in facebook of Amp Sims told me this and it worked , it's wicked, specially with an IR loader like Lira, here you go: connect one mono signal to each amp, and then one mono signal from each amp to your IR loader, then set the IR loader to stereo mode
Wow, thanks, that's pretty cool. I also really like Apple Mainstage with NAM which is only $30. It's the same Logic interface but used for live performances with pedalboards and other effects that you can also use.
@@predigr Yes, I use it as an Audio FX on an Audio channel on Mainstage. I plug my guitar in a USB interface from MOTU or Cube Baby. But have recently started exploring the MOD Dwarf pedal board works with NAM and Aida-X. Wow! th-cam.com/video/rVQy3wVIVBA/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the Element tip. Is it a rebuild of VSTHost or SaviHost? Anyway, I sometimes record from the Standalone NAM into my Tascam, to add FX means opening Reaper, which does "something" to the sound. Element seems quite stable and not laggy.
I’m not sure if it’s a rebuilt of Savihost. I’ve used SaviHost before, but I like Element now. It’s pretty light on my system and easy to work with. Thanks for watching 😃

Does Elements have some form of scene/snapshot feature. Talking about a batch reconfiguration of turning plugins on/off on the chain within a Elements preset/session without having to switch to a different preset and simultaneously sending batches of midi CC or PC codes to specific plugins (e.g. to tun a effect off or change a preset in Amplitube)? Basically, trying to mimic the seamless Snapshot feature you have in Helix Native but when using other types of plugins within Elements. It seems like this feature exists in Gig Performer but I am not seeing it in Elements.
I think you're right. I think the best option with element may be what I do in my Midi for Element video. You can use 1 midi cc to do several things. th-cam.com/video/wAzksNo6iTU/w-d-xo.html
Hi there. Thanks very much for doing this. However, whilst I can connect NAM very easily in my DAW, I get no input level into NAM or any of my other VST plugins in the standalone version of Element. I followed all your setup instructions for the interface, sample rate and buffer size, but no luck. Can you help please? Thank you :)
I've tried everything but all I get is a very harsh sound ... Is the way I have the Guitar and Scarlett solo connected that is the problem. I plug the guitar into the scarlett solo and the solo, via usb, into my PC. I then followed all your instructions and everything looks the same at the end, but no sound (or I should say, no GOOD sound) I just downloaded two tests from Tone-hunt = AMP = EVH 5150 III (Amp Only) Boosted (Overdrive 0 - Tone 5 - Volume 5) IR = EVH ONE mixed IR
What is your buffer size? If it's 64, try 128 to see if it helps. Make sure input gain is down on interface and that you're using guitar input (hi-z). If you disable or remove Nam from the chain, do you get a clean guitar sound (di) coming out of your speakers?
@@Obi-Juan_Guitar Yes, I get a clean sound and I shouldn't have trouble with the buffer size as I'm running a 4070 super with an i5 14400F .. or maybe that doesn't matter? is it more about the actual focusrite scarlet solo when it comes to latency/buffer size?
I think it's more cpu and audio interface dependent than gpu. The interface does play a factor. The best practice is to set the lowest buffer without hearing cracks or drop outs.
Hello, at some point you didnt get any sound because you didn't make the connection yet. I understand that and that is logical an d the way it should work. You can if you can do a loopback with your audio interface and have your audio output routed to inputs and then process them before sending to speakers. To do something like that with Windows audio, you're probably better off doing it with something like VoiceMeter. It can run VSTs on your windows audio. Hope this helps 🤘
Does it work for microphones ? I'm looking for using and eq directly on my microphone, so people hear me with better quality when i play video games with them
💯 You can use it for that. If you use OBS for streaming or to capture your gameplay, you can also run vst plugins on your mic channel from inside OBS using filters🤘
Thanks for the video, I'm very interested, but when I download and install it mutes all my audio. It may be simple fix, I'm just an old guy trying to learn. If you could help me with this I would appreciate it. Thanks
No problem 😃 Make sure you're using the ASIO drivers from your audio interface. You can also try to use ASIO4ALL drivers. Depends on your interface. Which one do you have?
