Why does this seem so...lame? Feels like a generic party game from the early Wii days or some random Wii U eShop game. Thanks for showing actual gameplay though.
It’s a sequel to a VERY early Switch game that was basically a tech demo. It got overshadowed by the rest of the Switch’s library pretty early on, so I don’t blame you for forgetting.
This game almost didn't come out and Nintendo was debating whether to release it or not for over a year, because pretty much every playtester hated it, and then they cut minigames, leaving only 17. There you go, that's why.
This game is a sequel to 1-2-Switch, a game that got overshadowed immediately by the fact that it released the same day as Breath of the Wild. 1-2-Switch was more of a tech demo than anything, with perfectly fine minigames that show various things that the Joy Cons can do, but were rarely ever utilized. If you're wondering why there's a ton of what look like paper cut-outs of stock photos in this game, it's because that was the aesthetic of the original. This game *really* wants to be Jackbox, but it never had a chance. Not only is Jackbox really good at what it does (alongside having ~10 years of experience with this type of game), but Jackbox only makes 5 games a collection, not 20. ~A year before the game was released, a playtest report was leaked for it, saying that testers found the game to be awful on most fronts, as the above commenter has said before me. The only real thing this game has is that it's about half the price of the original 1-2-Switch, but the original is of interesting historical value because of it's status as a launch title and as a fairly interesting tech demo that might show what Nintendo had in mind closer to launch. Everybody 1-2-Switch is arguably the worst Nintendo game I have ever seen, at least conceptually.
AK at last place with 0% was the most painful moment in this entire game.
ghost trick on the home screen makes me very happy :)
Gotta love them singling out the failing players, so people know who to beat up if they lose the game.
It wouldve been funny if you included what happened in Quiz Party
This was such a chaotic game session. Can’t wait to see the highlights for Part 2 with the 40 minute session.
game of the decade
And the Horace's party has begun in this series 🎉
Game of the year
You moved!

Some of the sections (like the bingo part) look like straight up shovelware 😭
