I have this power bank and works very well with my 14 Pro and i also have the 10,000 mAh as well its a great product all round. The 10K mAh does my daugters iphone 12 pretty much all week end if she goes away and uses it as a top up when her iphone 12 gets to around 30% and she still comes home with charge left on the battery bank 😊
I’ve bought both this and Anker 521 on sale pretty much the same prize, but Baseus is faster and holds more juice. I can’t decide which one to keep. Anker holds status of a ,,more premium” company and due slower charging propably is healthier for iPhone battery but Baseus is bigger. Do you have any suggestions?
The Anker one has a smaller capacity at only 5,000mah. The Baseus has 6,000mah. I'd keep the Baseus. But ultimately I recommend this latest 10,000mah one th-cam.com/video/Fanni5zx8TI/w-d-xo.html which is not much bigger. Watch that review with efficiency tested as well.
Great video, Baseus make very good stuff from my experience. I have this item coming soon, I hope that it will also be able to charge my apple watch using usb-c to watch cable if I need it to.
This means that the actual rated capacity is spot on for both wired and wireless, surprisingly i thought wireless charging will not.be able to charge the phone fully because of the power loss but its very good
I have baseus 6000 mah and used for iPhone SE 2020 it’s charge phone 46% and drained wirelessly . Later checked it’s cable and its charge 2 time my phone . It’s mean it’s waste the power in heat. It’s heat up a lot while charging wirelessly
True. The efficiency is only around 54% when using wireless charging and around 74% in wired mode. I tested many MagSafe power banks and it is true for all of them.
@@ToolsElectroDIY another issue I noted is last night I charge my iPhone SE 2020 99% with wires and my phone drained to 64% at the morning without any usage. I think I wall chargers charging last longer than power bank
I've realized something about this and several other magsafe power banks. While they are designed for iPhone, and cap out at 7.5W on iPhone, many of these also support 15W via Qi EPP. I guess either so they can technically say 15W support and confuse iPhone customers, or just because the hardware could theoretically do it so they left it available. Whatever reason, it means on many Android phones they will output up to 15W and get VERY Hot if you charge for 10+ minutes. It unfortunately means for me, as my main device is an Google Pixel in a MagSafe compatible case, that this charger (which was honestly the favorite of the ones I tried) and several others (such as the E33A and E33B many recommend) just aren't practical for me to use.
@@ToolsElectroDIY yes, I don't know if it exactly was 15W, because I don't have proper testing equipment right now. I am using an app for Android called AccuBattery, which gives a rough estimate based on battery change. I do know that it was definitely greater than 7.5W and based on Baseus' stated specifications and my phone's specifications, it should theoretically be doing up to 15W.
@@ToolsElectroDIY I actually just realized my phone (Pixel 7) only actually supports up to 12W. So what I experienced isn't even the full amount of heat this thing can generate.
