Chris, you are a treasure. These tutorial videos are just what a beginner wants. To learn to shoot their first successful photos AND understanding why it worked. I like that.
That made me laugh as well. “Just trying to manage expectations” ~Maverick, Top Gun Maverick 🤣. But honestly, fantastic videos to learn what to do whilst the battery is charging before first use.
Thank you Chris for all your videos about the Zfc. They really helped me to choose and buy this camera, yesterday. Now I will take my time to explore your channel and watch all the videos (and learn a lot). Thank you again.
I just purchased a Nikon zfc and your videos are amazingly helpful. I'm very excited to start experimenting with night photography on my Zfc. Thank you!
Wish I had watched this when I first got the camera. I bought it as a walk-around, mainly using my pro cameras. But when my fav pro camera broke (sold it for parts), I decided to use the Zfc for a trip to Italy. Really learned a lot from Chris. Good thing is that I still have my pro lenses and the FTZ adapter. Thanks!
Hi Chris I stumbled upon this content and your beginner's guide for the Z fc, having just purchased the camera. These 2 videos helped me so much. Thanks a bunch 😊
I feel the same! Thank you for these great video tutorials for the Z fc!!! I just purchased this wonderful camera and I get confused with Aperature and ISO, I like to think that one day, understanding how to navigate my camera's settings for specific situations will come naturally. Right now I stumble around all the features and settings. Chris, your videos are so very helpful! Thank you!
I fell in love with the Nikon Z fc camera when I bought it with the 28mm f/2.8 lens. I got a really good price this weekend. I'll try this lens for astrophotography 😅. It's equivalent to 42mm. Thank you, Chris, for such an amazing video.
Chris, thank you for this! For product photography what you trick you suggest? Seems that on display is showing something and in the moment I take the picture it come out not so clean. Why? What should I do? Also the videos have the same quality in auto or manual
About night time focusing its such a shame modern camera lens's infinity setting is almost always off on every single lens. On my old manual nikon lenses I simply swing to infinity and shoot. Crisp clear pictures always.
Caution! I recently downloaded firmware for the Zfc from Nikon. When I hit the upload, the camera shut itself down and would not restart. Nikon support told me it would have to be sent to a service center. I mailed it, at my expense. After a week, I got an estimate for repair. Almost $ 300.00. This camera was just over one year old, purchased directly from Nikon and had less than 1,000 actuations. The camera worked perfectly until I tried to upload the firmware. Note - I own over two dozen Nikon cameras including four Z series and I am very familiar with the update procedure. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thank you outstanding video. I have a Nikon D3500 but I was looking for a compact mirrorless camera for my next trip to Portugal and Spain. This camera fits my needs. I’m not a professional but learning. I like city street photography, scenic and human/pets photos and love the retro looks on this camera 📷 so I’m looking forward to use it a lot!

WOW! Thank you!
I loved the line…’half your photos will look like garbage”…it helps set expectations. These zfc videos are amazing.
Thanks!

Love this tutorial, thanks!
The Z fc has the best performing low light APSC size sensor ever made. It still outperforms the XT5 Fuji and Canon R7 in high ISO tests.
It's an amazing little camera!
Thank you for this comment. I've definitely been looking at getting this camera
thank you. how you record cameras screen sir ?
Device called Ninja Atomos
@@attrell can ı record without atomos ?
Hi, Chris. What about the image noise when shooting at 10,000 ISO, how can you make the image look cleaner? Thank you for these helpful videos.
turn in high ISO NR
Topaz photo AI is amazing program too
Topaz photo
do you think that nikon zfc is a good camera for such low light shooting or night photography?
Yes it is!
thank you so much
You're welcome!
Great job mate! 👍
But... it's normal for the display to be so grainy and noisy in low light conditions? 🤔
In camera mode yes. If you change the ISO to lower number, it should improve.
Hi, Cris! I have Nikon z FC. It's possibe paused recording video and after continue record?
No it's very basic recorder
Why is the camera supposed to be 30 inches from the subject? Is that not too close?
You should add “for beginners” to this title as well. NX studio, free from Nikon, works well for Raw files, no “specialty” software required.
Thank you so much ❤️

I miss those days!

Wow that is weird! Never heard of this happening.
