always remember Bird as a tough , dependable player. A guy you’d prefer on your side.
Especially his girlfriends loved those times he literally smashed glass into their pretty faces. Such a tough, dependable boyfriend. Such a guy I'd prefer at my daughter's side.
Something I think that would add a lot to the videos would be to mention try assists for the year if they were recorded/tracked. Especially for players in the halves I feel like it gives a better show of their level of play through the year and not just the tries they score. Keep up the vids mate theyre great for the NRL community.

Lad, you don't have to describe every player's career as a rise and fall. Apart from like John Hopoate, or Ben Barba or Watts or maybe that guy from the Tiger's who was betting on games/selling merch on ebay etc...Some players just have have more off field incidents or patchy from than others. Just like all of us. I've lost my job once because of Covid before and I've had an arrest. Have I fallen? Or that was just 2019?
This is going to be such a tough one but, please do “The Rise and Fall of Brett Finch” as he should be given the “Chris Benoit Treatment” for being found guilty of sending sexually explicit messages to children using an adult phone chat service In 2021.

i used to near cry when this ill disciplined mistake factory would be picked for the blues. all semblance of attack would stop when he got the ball. 'oh look the blues have got a two man overlap out the back, better give it to bird so he can charge straight back at the ruck and drop it when hes tackled'.. at the end of the game hed have cost us 8 knock ons, 6 penalties, 4 turnovers and youd hear some moron coping with "jeez bird tried hard"

Played against him growing up. He was so skillful. Should have been an all time great five eighth. He ended up playing some of the ugliest football you'll ever see. It's a bit like if Albert Einstein gave up on science and decided to bang his head against a wall for a living instead.
