Your face when you pulled the shot to the right Keith 😂😂😂 here you learn a valuable lesson, quit when you only have one flyer because you just damn well know that group will open up 👍👍👍👍
I opened a new tin with .22 5.52mm JSB Exacts and i felt already that they fit different in the barrel. To loose. Result about the same group as you shot Keith. Had no pellets left from the old batch and ordered a tin with 5.53mm to try and nice tight group again. The older HW35 like a tight fit. Cheers buddy!
That's a good point about heat build up on a springer. I find it easier to get into rhythm shooting rather than taking time, breathing and thinking about each shot. This can have an effect on the potential FPS of the pellet and ultimately the point of impact? Might have to do a side by side comparison over the chrony
There is no problem closing on the black steel ones to close it. A small hammer blow and it opens and closes. The problem is the nickel-plated paint bath. Weihrauch!! Take care of those very important details. And Since 2009 I have had many weihrauch and I have ONLY had closure problems on nickels. When it comes to opening to grease or changing spring, it takes many Goliath blows to align the rear cap. And yet it doesn't make a perfect closing. Right now I have 8 weihrauch and I have only had problems with nickel ones. After some time and patience I managed to close as well as possible.

I think these are 4.52? Could be 4.51 I can't remember, but yes, a tighter pellet might be even more suited to these springer barrels
@@keith6930I heard on another TH-cam video that in an old HW35 that H&N Hobby's for .22 and RWS Superdome in .177 were the best pellets to use.
@@ianwhite5799 I've had good success with the RWS pellets for the springers. I know the Hobby's have been a little scarce as of late
Interesting two groups.
As always good shooting considering the time you spend between shots.
Thanks for the video.
TBH I gave up after I missed the 4th shot and just put lead down range to stop me swearing 😆
Gotta watch for that fps drop when you chain fire. I noticed it on all my springers now that I can chrony them.

@keith6930 me too, i like the breaker tempo. I blow in the air chamber every couple of shots, and it adds a forced delay, if only that.

I think any plating will cause the tolerances to be a little too close and cause some issues. Blacking or blueing is the best option
💪💪😎
I think there are alot to be said for a long barrel when in comes to springers, for the same reasons for Co2 power.
Not sure there is a longer barrel on a springer than that on the HW35?
Cheers!
Nice, nearly at 1k subscribers
Yep, so close and yet so far!!
Nice 👍🏽 ✔️
Check the screws have not loosened
Oh no, they're fine. Just went a little Banzai after missing the 5th shot. 😆
