    Checked my childhood stash and did pretty good. 74 Winfield, 73 Clemente x 3, 73 Willie Mays, 70 Thurman Munson, 75 Robin Yount, 71 Bert Blyleven, 70 Hank Aaron x 2. I am glad mom didn't throw them all out!

    I've got almost all these cards, but none are anywhere close to gem mint. Would love to see a show on raw,lower grade card values.

      Raw sells and values are all over the place so probably to difficult for him to find an accurate value. Best bet is look at Beckett book values and cut it in half and go down from there based on condition. Low grade values that are actually graded are easy to find on PSA web site

    All of Pete Rose cards through the years should be the ones to watch in the coming years. You know he will be put into the hall of fame one day. You can't keep him out with all he has accomplished in his baseball career. So if you get a chance, i would like to see where his cards are at know money wise. An where they will be in lets say 5 years from now. Especially if he gets inducted into the baseball hall of fame. Great video. 😁👍

    There are probably thousands of stories like mine, but I had every one of these cards when i was a kid. I can't blame anyone but myself, as I gave them to my younger cousins when I went to high school. And they weren’t even interested in baseball. Uuuuggghh. It still hurts to this day.

    • @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR

      Playing baseball or watching baseball and baseball card collecting are two different hobbies/activities. It’s similar to paintings and painters. People like to collect/buy paintings but have zero interest in painting or even learning how to paint.

    Wow I have more than just a few of the Cards on this list and really haven't haven't paid a whole lot of attention to them because they are all in old albums. I have a couple of old basketball albums that have cards from the Late 60s and 70sb. I know 1 of the albums with the baseball had a old tag from 1981 that for $5600. Matt you wouldn't believe the stuff that was in this this house boxed up and in plastic toats from a estate auction in Mazon il, I bought that didn't sell in the original auction. I paid $160 dollars for everything and it took me 2 days of loading up the all the toats, boxes and I still haven't gotten to open it all up and go through the stuff because I don't have the space or time.. but so far you name it I have it even books from the late 1800s . Looks to me someone passed away and it was all packed away and every since it didn't peak anyone's interest to take the time and go through it all ! I have a huge basement and I filled a 3rd of it with the stuff! Unbelievable

All in pretty good shape. I wouldn't add many to this list, or take many off either. Maybe some more Ryan cards '70-'71, the '75 Brett (regular), '72 Clemente, etc.....

Also have the '75 Brett rookie, but it's the regular. All the cards raw of course. Picked up a '69 Mays too, but that's for another decade....... Cool video! @@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Really enjoying your site. Appreciate the comment. 🙂 The PSA situation is new to me. Am I understanding correctly? … It sounds like only the "10"-level PSA cards get the thousands-of-dollar bids. (And only rookie cards are premium bids as well) I feel like I may have a gold mine here with some of my cards but not sure. Is the only way to get the high bids by going in person to auctions? Doesn't seem like eBay has those really high bids like in your Top 25's, etc. but haven't looked in depth yet. Thanks for any help.

    Great video. I wonder how many of these that sold were trimmed and altered as part of that PWCC/ PSA scandal they are investigating. I have to imagine that scandal, is going to raise suspicion on many of the gem mint 10s, thus hurting the value. Time will tell.

    • @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
      @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it was going to hurt the value it would have happened already. My belief is that most collectors just don’t really care. That’s ones with the big money anyway. Why else would they continue to buy from PWCC and Probstein and continue making record sales?

    I bought a card collection from a guy on drugs. He sold me his grandfather's collection. The cards are all from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. A lot of rookie cards. Including Michael Jordan's college basketball card. Nascar put out 241 cards. I have all of them. Where do I go to have this looked at? There all in excellent condition. Some of them are in plastic sleeves. There are about 2500 plus cards from all sports.

      First off, be very weary of anyone that jumps at the opportunity to look through these. There are some scammy guys out there. Secondly, if you want the most bang for your buck then you should sit down and look through them yourself. You bought the cards as an investment and it sounds like you got a good deal, lol however I do feel bad for the grandfather. Invest some time and learn what kind of treasure you scored. Decide which cards would be worth having grading and which should just be sold on eBay. That's what I would do. You have all the resources you need online.

    I’m hesitate to remove it from the plastic it’s in and there is another Ozzie Smith card behind it so I can’t see the year. The front of the card is identical to the one in the above video. Could I send a photo to you via email or Facebook? Thx.

      Flip Lord I have that one too. It’s hard to find one with perfect centering. I would send it off and get it graded. My centering is off on mine

    • @yaboyTYLE
      @yaboyTYLE 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Clay Moore yeah I found out that my centering is off as well. I didn’t realize that was why that card sold for so much. I assumed if you had the card in good condition it was worth money lol. I have a lot to learn about baseball cards lmao 😂 thought I was going to have some retirement money to put into savings. Smh back to the drawing board
