Absolute Power (2024-) #1 Review

The Absolute Power event is here! In this video I give my thoughts on Absolute Power (2024-) #1.

Great review man and personally for me while I do like this story at the same time though I have a sneaking suspicion that Jonathan Samuel Kent is basically screwed and is now going to be a monster permanently and just proves my point more and more that DC should finally listen to us and deage Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy back to his rightful age of 10 years old before tom Taylor or bendis ever touch his character from the start at least in my opinion, however if that event can't do that then i do another option and I am going to regret it, but if this event does kill him and he's now a cyborg permanently and can't be saved. Then this could be the way for DC to finally give us fans what we want and that's to say this Jon Kent we have in the present isn't the real Jon Kent but a imposter from earth 3 and the real Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his 10 year old self is out there who needs to be saved and the second this cyborg Jon Kent goes away and the real Jon Kent returns would be really awesome and badass in my opinion but we shall see. Overall though this event does have a strong start and I am very intrigue on what is going happen next with this event and the long haul but one thing for sure I am hoping by the end of this event really hoping that Amanda Waller finally goes away and never comes back because that character has really ran her story to the ground that really needs to go away and never comeback but that's just my opinion.

It was decent. I might not like Nark Waid very much, but he can write, and I’m reasonably certain there won’t be character assassinations under his helm.
Unfortunately I think we’re stuck with Walker, but I do hope they rest the character for a while, after the event.
Speaking of, I’m with you on the events. Too many events was one of the reasons I stopped reading marvel. I hope DC ain’t going down that route.

Not a fan of Waller, but this book isn’t bad. Enjoyed Brainiac series and Adam’s green lantern.
