This book is probably the best if not the best book that DC comics is putting it out right now.
NIGHTWING by Tom Taylor & Bruno Redondo is not bad.
That and everything Superman related is firing on all cylinders
Chip's Batman has been stellar too.
Jeremy Adams’ Flash has been great. Really sad it’s ending
Mark Waid is writing a great title and he is building up the tissues of DC universe . There’s a dialogue when Batman reminded Robin that superheroes could be happy in their relationships, and he mentioned elongated man. What a throwback to post crisis era.
Such a fun series! Definitely recommend for anyone that hasn't read it already.
Man, that art looks amazing. Mark Waid is a must purchase for me too.
Dan Mora might be one of my favourite artists currently in the medium. Definitely top 5.

Dan Mora's art is just absolutely phenomenal
Looking forward to picking this up. I liked a lot of his Marvel work but Waid and DC just feels right, so glad he's back. Waid's Wally West Flash run is still my all-time favorite by a writer, hope we get a second omni soon.

Never thought it was Tim, Waid writes Grayson so specific I knew his Grayson anywhere.
Is this one of my favorite books right now. Waid and Mora are doing the new Shazam series as well
I got my copy yesterday. Can't wait to read it.
The best ongoing at DC along with The Flash. If there is something I I have to critique is that issue 6 should have been added to this collection. Other than that this is a great collection. Would definitely recommend this to new readers.

Love the feel of the matte paper used in the recent batman and nightwing volumes.
I regret buying these in floppies. Those pages look so damned good in HC collection!
I read this one yesterday, my fav book in a long while, so fun, oldskool, beautifull art. Love it!
I definitely thought it was Tim Drake, I just started collecting the singles... and a comic book reader from 1985, I saw this robin and instantly thought it was Tim Drake because of the green pants. - - Hell, I didn't know which Robin it was, until I saw this video, and you said it was Dick Grayson. Thanks!

Great book. I’ve been reading it in singles. Dan Mora art is great. I just wish this would have been more than 6 issues.

Bought a single of this just for the Seinfeld variant for a friend but ended up reading it, which is super rare for me and singles. Couldn’t believe how quality it was and I’m so glad all the love it’s getting. Great overview!

I love Dan Mora art. I have collected all his single covers at DC. I feel some sort of 70s/80s vibe when I see his art in comic books.

Hey Omar, DC stopped putting Volume Numbers on the spine since Infinite Frontier and now all (if not most) of their hardcovers and trades have Volume Numbers on the back

Such a fantastic series
Love this title and was looking forward to the HC but the copies (original and replacement) I got from Amazon were each defective. The front and back covers were not lined up and the book couldn't stand up straight. Anyone else have this issue?

Fuuucck im already collecting issues monthly but the volume print quality is so,,, the paper is so SHOULD I GET THIS 😭😭
Well, IMO monthly comics still has more value, even if the paper and print quality is just average.
Especially, early number of the series. Back issues like vol.1, 2 and 3, are the rarest and most difficult to find.

I kinda dropped this one after [spoiler for one of the stories]
the reason for Superman not falling for Felix Fausts hellscape is because, as Batman puts it, 'of course, superman doesn't believe in hell'...
For some reason, a justice league member who's fought [against/with] demons and had magic users team up with them, including the Spectre...part of me was just like 'okay...what?' 😅
And the delivery in such an 'of course, it makes perfect sense, now let's not dwell on that reason any further' just felt weirdly 'sweep it under the rug' ish.
So I kinda dipped, thinking more weird OoC reasons would show up in the run...and I'd rather save money.
Long story short though, anyone know if I should I get back into it?
Or if it gets better than those kinda weird 'doesnt make too much sense in a grand scheme' reasons for things?

in the original myths, Nezha (sometimes called Nataku) was the 3rd son of General Li Jing, and his birth was anything but ordinary, considering that he remained in his mother's womb for 3 years before he was finally born, and then his mother gave birth to "a giant mound of flesh", Li Jing thought his wife had birthed a demon and struck the mound with his sword, breaking it apart to reveal the boy that would grow up to become Nezha
Nezha possessed inhuman abilities and was very immature, so he got into big trouble, especially after he killed the 3rd son of the East Dragon King, prompting the East Dragon King to seek revenge by attempting to flood the town that was Nezha's home
in order to save the innocents, Nezha decided to take responsibility for his actions by committing suicide
Nezha was later revived and made immortal, his new body was made out of lotus and he could now grow three heads and six arms at will
Nezha would join the Zhou Army and topple the Shang Dynasty
Nezha was among the warriors sent by the Jade Emperor to arrest the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, for causing a ruckus in Heaven, but Wukong easily beat him
following this, Nezha and Wukong would become frenemies and Nezha would assist Wukong a couple of times during the Journey to the West

Imo I think these are issues are great but it gets dumb when they introduce the whole new sidekick thing and Dick asking out and going on a date with Supergirl, it was just off. I do hope that it'll pick up since Metamorpho is on the 13th issue and I think he's just a cool character to team up with world's finest squad 🔥🔥
The Joshua Williamson run with Batman/Superman teaming up was also great.

Love the pencils not a fan of the colors. Too many pages are dumoed in red. Then too many ppl and panels have like a red tint to them.
I'll wait for the Omni if one ever comes. I'm so tired of DC putting out standard-size hardcovers, lol.
Why does DC make you wait so long for trades compared to marvel?

I will not be buying anymore DC collected editions printed on the Matte paper. As of now, it appears only the Omni’s are spared the matte treatment.
I actually like the matte paper. Yes the colours are a little duller but I don't feel like the pages will rip just by touching them on glossy paper these days.🙂
