If you install them through Windows and you have no yellow exclamation marks or missing drivers in Device Manager, then you can just leave it as is. If you have missing drivers or yellow exclamations in device manager then you can install them from the manufacturer.

Yeah you can try and install an updated driver but if there is a hardware issue that's causing the driver to fail then it's going to keep on happening until you replace the wireless card. But the first step is to install new drivers.

You can use your phone by going in setting then connection and then mobile hospot and tethering and press usb tethering it will act as a ethernet by connecting your phone and your pc through usb cable and then you can download the driver from the pc itself
