Just an idea, but ever thought of putting everything someone needs on a memory stick and then sale that? That would help most people that are not computer savy and get frustrated.

You can kinda do that now. It's just the matter of finding someone who's willing to have all the teams available on a single roster file.
2k should have you on their payroll for keeping this game alive. Nothing like playing a 1993 season in 2020. I know it's not close yet, but I'm hopeful Maximum Football will one day become the sim standard we can all customize as a community.

To all the guys who make these rosters available on Simheads I can't thank you enough, I've even seen college rosters that look incredible. The possibilities are endless with the APF editor

How do you download the rosters? ‘This TH-camr never responds. I’ll pay the money I just don’t want to customize, only Download and play.
@@djbrown5563 here is the way I do it. 1) Dowload and open Horizon and copy ROS.ROS game save to desktop
2) then open Xbox 360 editor
3) copy game ID from game save to downloaded roster then click local sign
4) copy DOWNLOADED .ROS file to the game save ROS file on Desktop
5) open Horizon and inject downloaded ROS file to the game save roster file, it should say "already exists, overwrite?" select yes
6) done
So first you have to download Horizon and Xbox 360 editor

I would love to see an Xfl league from 2001 days.. i think the editor can make me very overwhelmed but I do feel cpu smart so move i just need to buy it n learn from my mistake but damn would I love some old xfl teams n players

$25 is a steal , compared to the same crap Madden had been giving us since 05. .. Anyone who truly likes intense gridiron football gameplay in a console really would buy the editor to keep playing.

One thing you forgot to mention is platforms the game is playable on. So many people can't seem to grasp the fact the game is only playable on a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or PC via emulation. The game is not backward compatible on any console released afterwards

Has anybody tried to mod textures on this game? The College football revamped have done a great job with NCAA 14, i wonder if something simular can be done on APF
Wow this is awsome. I never had the chance to play this game, because of the regio lock. Its a ahame that this game never come to germany/europe. Läßt week i bought an ntsc 360 for 50€. and a copy of apf2k8, cant wait to get my Handy on the game

This game was $10 when it came out. I recently purchased it again for $60 used on EBAY. On Amazon it was $140.

How deep does the franchise mode go? Is there a draft or free agency between seasons?

Great video but I still have a question. The editor looks legit but I am anxious to get some rosters downloaded. Is the Roster editor required to download teams?
As I mentioned in the video, you can use modded rosters but you can’t customize them and you can’t play a franchise without the editor.
I know you're a football guy, but any chance/interest for an editor for NHL2K10? Still the best hockey sim out there and even more sim with edited rosters.
Question, on the franchise, you basically track everything on your computer, prep up the new season and then transfer that new season to your 360? I guess that is what you do for each season? Just wanted clarification.

yes just to download rosters is very easy. but you can only play as 8 teams. they can be changed to any 8 teams but the editor helps you do that, if not you have to get someone who has the editor to change your file.
So when you pay for and download the editor can you then just download the updated rosters that automatically allows to play a franchise with the rosters you've downloaded or do you need to do something else? Sorry for asking another question lol.
Modded rosters like the 1993 roster is something you obtain outside of APFe. The editor allows you to customize the roster and play multiple seasons. You can find out how to get rosters on the APFe Discord. People can show you asap.

I have already downloaded 19 and 20 rosters from operation sports but I have the freezing issue when simming after playing the first game of the season, so I was wondering if downloading the editor would allow me to play with the rosters I already downloaded without the freezing issue.

So I'm pretty new to this game and am interested in perhaps buying the editor but the whole thing seems a bit daunting. Would I have to start from scratch if I wanted to recreate the NFL teams of 2020 let's say? How do people on the Apple platform do this? Is the editor mac compatible? As I was looking over the web shop page I could only see the windows version. I presume the editor works for the PS3? So many questions...
Not mac compatible unless you have windows on it. There are NFL rosters out in the wild. It works for PS3. All of these questions can be answered in my tutorials and on the discord server.

Yup but it only runs on Windows so you’d need boot camp or virtual machine running Windows like parallels.

Uh google it someone has the forums for the star player attributes base numbers without the editor unedited gold wide wr 85 speed sliver 80, bronze and the madden based ratings translating to this game like madden ovr is player consistency etc....

Yes it does. I literally went out (hunted lol) to buy a 360 just to use the editor to play this game.....8 months later, it was totally worth it. I'm actually playing right now with my edited roster as I'm typing this lol.

Only way to get this is via PC? So, if you don't own a PC, no Editor? I just received a mint copy of APF.
Is it a one time fee of $25?
Yes. There's a yearly renewal fee if you want new updates after 1 year though.

@@j.carver3193 I believe it's $15, but like I said it's only for updates to the software which is rare these days since I've squeezed out as much as I can out of it so far.

What's with the entitlement? He has created, updated, supported, and given tutorials with this editor. He dedicated his time and efforts to doing this. Small price to pay to get continual editing, modding, and lifelong play.

So what does the renewal thing mean?
It means you can download any new updates that may come out. Without it you won't be able to, but nothing new is set to come out ATM so if you have the latest version, then you should wait.
$25 bucks for a game that's been out for over a decade. No thanks man
It's much cheaper than Madden.
