There's nothing wrong with being extremely picky about relationships. This is the one category where you should be as picky as you want. Esp if you want to start a family with that person. If in the end you end up alone then there's nothing wrong with that because you can be whole and happy by yourself. If someone compatible comes along then great but if not then that's life. For me personally, it's the way she spoke. Nothing about her points themselves was particularly out of the ordinary, but saying someone even a month younger is her brother is weird to me. Comparing any dating prospect to a family member raises some questions that I think should go to a therapy room instead of a dating circle.
I don’t think she’s a bad or irritating person I just think she has a lot of preferences which can limit her dating world or gives her a shallow view. Everyone has a preference and at the end of the day the person you’ll end up loving might not adhere to those standards. Idk just my 2 cents

okay no don't feel that way, there is a difference between high and picky standards. tbh i think her standards were high but not too picky to where she should be bullied the way she is. having high standards can be a good thing, it means your looking for the right person that treats you well and makes you feel loved and vise versa. you should not settle for less because its comfortable, because there is a societal pressure to date if you have been too single for too long or the desperation to date (not be lonely/alone) or because a man (or women or person) is better than no man/women/person.
being single is only bad when you don't enjoy your company and if that's the case then you should work on loving yourself and self-growth rather than looking to find someone to do that for you because looking to others to fill that need is not healthy). and when you meet the right person, those high standards are not going to matter (as realistically the person that we may end up being with may not meet all our standards but that wont matter) as you found that person that treats you right, that repects you and makes you feel all lovey-dovey.
it takes a strong person to stay single and not to throw themselves into 'romance' out of fear of being alone, because knowing your worth is not pride or pickiness its self respect. standards are subjective, whether based on dating/life experience, upbringing or/and just pure attractive qualities so we should not judge another for their level of standards.

I don't really have a preference in height, but I'm pretty tall for a female (5"11) and it is sometimes and insecurity so I feel for most tall girls, being with shorter guys just makes us more insecure about our height if that makes any sense. But of course height wouldn't be something I'd use to not get to know somebody. It depends on the person overall. I do find huge height differences to be odd in relationships if it's like a preference. Like say, you're 5"2 and you only date guys that are 5"10 and up. That doesn't make sense to me

I'm a girl and I kinda see height as a challenge and it's also intimidating if you're taller than me so I'd rather have someone shorter than me. This does give me less choices even more so because I'm not tall. I have a pretty average height so I'm not necessarily short but I'm definitely not tall.

A lot of people say her standards are too high... Personally I find it very strange to judge other people's standards. You don't have to ask someone to lower their standards and judge the person to be "rude" because they have high standards.
She has her standards, you have yours, why judge them ? And frankly, asking someone to lower their standards also devalues the person, it's quite degrading.
Since when did it become normal to ask people to be less demanding ? We should rather encourage people to be, especially for things as important as love. If she can date someone as close to her ideal as possible, that's great... rather than giving in to other people's judgments and ending up dating someone she doesn't even like, this type of relationship rarely ends well.
Overall, I notice that it is mainly women who are asked to lower their standards, we rarely tell a man that he is demanding too much, and when I see that even girls allow themselves to criticize her, that makes me depressed.
