      I can give you probably over 100 reasons why those movies were terrible. But I’ll just say that Rey’s character is botched through all three movies. Finn is absolutely ruined and nothing but an after thought by the beginning of ep 9. But hey if you enjoyed them, I’m glad.

    Cad freaking Bane wow he looks so awesome in live action, of course Corey Burton brings the character to life with his iconic voice but honestly the physical actor (who I assume is most likely a stunt double) was surprisingly very accurate and faithful to how he was animated in both Clone Wars and Bad Batch, the actor both had to wear a bunch of layered clothing AND extensive prosthetics but was able to bring across just how ruthless and imposing Bane can be, the combination of that with Burton’s voice fully brings Cad to life and imo it worked practically perfectly

      I think I'm starting to get my Star Wars mojo back. The last trilogy ... watched once. Not in the theaters. Will never watch again. The Mandoloran I've watched through once and even watched a few episodes twice. Book of Boba Fett ... I've watched one and done. Until episode 5. I watched episode 5 twice. I have watched episode 6 three times in less than 24 hours. That first viewing with Cad Bane gave me chills. I watched the second viewing on a high def TV hoping to get a more detailed view. If I had seen that scene with Cad at an Imax ... there is no doubt in my mind I'd have pooped my pants. Those red eyes burn right to your soul. I literally had a stormtrooper voice going off in my head saying, "Move along. Move along. Nothing to see here."

    Your analysis of the quickdraw is spot on. Having Vanth take his eyes off Bane for a second slowing his draw time and then having Bane look back at Vanth to make sure he doesn't get up is a sure sign that Cobb Vanth may be in the league of Cad Bane in drawing a weapon. Love it. Have to believe Favreau and Filoni give high regards to Gene Roddenberry as well. Roddenberry pitched Star Trek in 1964 as a Western in Space and to actually give us a Western in the sci-fi world is a complete nod.

    It's pretty easy to imagine reading a book where the side characters go off and do their own thing for a few chapters. For example, there are chapters in Thrawn where Thrawn doesn't show up at all.

    • @RaggedyPack
      @RaggedyPack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re totally right!! What I should’ve said was imagine a biography with chapters that don’t involve the main person. However, this is fiction so I understand it won’t follow the same rules.

      @@RaggedyPack in addition to the book point i think if people take a real wide look at ALL of this, it's pretty clear what Favreau & Filoni are doing with the shows they're doing & will do. (no idea about the stuff that isn't gonna connect to this like Kenobi & Andor)
      i wasn't sure before but after this, with them doing Luke again for basically a whole chapter, EVERYTHING is on the table & i'm certain we're getting a HttE era/style Saga that gives us Thrawn, Ezra & a ton of other stuff.
      kinda like The Infinity Saga but people KNEW what we were gonna get cos of the comics.
      i think, that when all this has finally played out, no one will ever 'gripe' about the times these chapters happened, cos we'll be able to stand back and actually see it all for what it was.
      these cats just know what they're doing. nothing is for no reason & there's zero chance these chapters being here isn't planned a mile ahead.

      I have a feeling that that was JJ Abrams' original intention, with the last moments of TFA. Unfortunately, Rian Johnson asked JJ to not depict Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker using his Force abilities, because in his interpretation of Luke Skywalker, he was cut-off from The Force. We have to remember they have mapped out this entire story. They did these last 2 episodes now because there is no time to do it later. If we had episode 5 as the premier of Mando season 3 people would say it was filler. Luke asking Asoka if they will meet again means they will as Mando telling Grogu they would see each other again. They hired Schnook youtuber who demonstrated a better Deepfake from finale. His Han Solo from Solo is unbelievable

    Daddy Dave Gaveth Us glorious gifts, today, didn't he? Excellent reactions, Bros. BTW: Cad Bane has as much of an axe to grind w/ Fennec Shand as he has w/ Boba Fett. Their bout in The Bad Batch, is evidence of that. So, seeing Cad facing off against Fennec, 28 years later, would be EPIC.
    I think the reason WHY We're seeing so much "around" Boba Fett, is because this is officially The Mandalorian Saga: Comprising The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, The Book Of Boba Fett, Rangers Of The New Republic, and Ahsoka, culminating in an AVENGERS: Infinity War-level convening of MOST/ALL of the main cast, in a theatrical motion picture. It's been 6 years since The Fall Of The Galactic Empire, and around 2 months since Ahsoka met Din Djarin and Grogu,...she is on her own mission, to find Ezra Bridger and locate Thrawn...remember, Ahsoka is (in her mind) not really a Jedi...she is a Force Mystic, since she has experienced things that no other Force-user has experienced before...and will continue to, once We get to the Ahsoka series, giving her new insights in to The Force (via Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, The Bendu), making her a unique person within the galaxy. As Obi-Wan Kenobi would say, "Your future lies on a different path from mine..."

      I'm curious about the inclusion of The Bad Batch to that saga listing. That show is set 29-30 years before Book of Boba Fett, immediately after the fall of the Republic rather than a few years after the fall of the Empire. If any of the Batch are still alive, they'd be very old men as they were artificially aged while Boba was not. Well, Omega being the exception. I'd find it surprising though if they brought her in before the conclusion of The Bad Batch series. Revealing her outcome in advance when many speculate if she and the others survive would be a huge spoiler.

    • @anthonyyoutubefan7567
      @anthonyyoutubefan7567 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@donaldwatson7698 It's included, because it is a satellite tale that connects to characters like Grogu, Ahsoka, Din Djarin (who lost his family during the tail-end of The Clone Wars), Boba Fett, Fennec Shand (who's encountered and had dealings with Kaminoans, Omega, and Clone Force 99), Cad Bane, Bo-Katan and Mandalore before and after The Night Of A Thousand Tears (which, it seems, Moff Gideon was instrumental in its execution) the criminal underworld, and (very importantly) The Empire's secret Science labs and their experiments, which directly connects to Moff Gideon's hideous attempts (via Kaminoan technology) at creating Force-infused subjects w/ a Force-sensitive's blood/DNA (which has connections to the Heir To The Empire trilogy by Timothy Zahn)... the fact that, in Rogue One, both the projects, "Black Saber" and "TARGET: Omega" are located within secured Imperial vaults, states just how significant they were to The Empire (I wonder: Given that Gideon was a high-ranking member of The ISB, does he also know about Omega's importance, along w/ Mandalorian Culture, and The Skywalker twins, which is why he panicked upon seeing Jedi Master Luke Skywalker on his Light Cruiser?). Whatever Omega truly is, and was meant to be, seems to be something unique within the galaxy, which means that, if she survived over those 28 years after Order 66, she's played a significant role in certain incidents within the galaxy's history.
      You're right: Until We officially meet Live Action versions of Omega and TBB, their story is on the somewhat peripheral of the saga. But, the 2 stories are having (so far) indirect conversations with each other, and paralleling certain narrative/thematic concepts in the overall story.

    My own theory on Ahsoka
    1. During her search for Ezra, she hears the death of Vader, who was also her past Master and decides to pay a visit.
    2. After meeting with Luke they share memories about Anakin Skywalker and Master Yoda.
    3. Ahsoka has faith in Luke. So she leaves to continue her search for Ezra and Thrawn while staying in contact with Luke.
    4. After the events in Mandalorian season 2, Ahsoka visits Luke again to give him guidance on how to become a Master and run the Jedi Academy.
    5. Trusting Luke, she leaves again for her quest which leads to the Ashoka series.

      I think that’s a really good theory! I would love to see these interactions on screen with Luke. The Ahsoka series is probably my most anticipated series because of her search for Ezra and Thrawn. But I do think that if Disney’s plan is to create a MCU-esque converging event then Thrawn will be the villain that makes that happen. - Wyatt

    Just watched a few breakdowns. The bomb bit transitions into the temple scene and it is reminiscent of the destruction in the sequels. I think if we had got Luke in his prime they would never have gone down the sequel path. Luke was kind, generous, compassionate. Just horrible to think they will go along with that story. Hopefully they will put that aside and give us good Jedi stories. We have about 3 years! Otherwise give us a multiverse! Grogu will go to Mando as they are a team the public love.

    I know episodes 5 and 6 were not about boba, but we have seen the 2 seasons of the mandalorian we have to trust the process. They know what they're doing.
    My guess is that one of the reasons we are seeing this now is because they wanna set a smooth timeline and probably dont wanna go back and overlap times when the mandalorian season 3 comes out.

    I believe Grogu will choose the armor because, as Luke stated, Grogu will outlive Din so he can always train as a Jedi after Din dies. That being said, I believe Din will ultimately go to Mandalore and bathe or drink the Living Waters of Mandalore. The Living Waters will accept Din enabling him to claim he's a true Mandalorian. I also believe that before Din can stop him Grogu will also bathe/drink of the Living Waters and also be accepted as a Mandalorian. This will enable him to become the next Mandalorian Jedi. Now after his Jedi training I don't think Grogu will go after the Dark Saber because that would mean he would have to rule Mandalore for the rest of his life and I can't see that happening.

    So many full circles in this episode, but one of them is Ashoka gave the spear to Din, he saved /protected Grogu with it then he made the same spear into chainmail again to protect the kid, gave it back to Ashoka and she delivered it. Random thought.

    The more I watch the duel, the more I think shooting Cob in the shoulder was intentional. That was his drawing arm. I'm thinking he left Cob alive but crippled his quick draw as a warning. Also, seeing how fast the Mandalorian draws and how he considers Cob a friend, I'm betting we're going to see a showdown between him and Cad before the season ends

    • @chapal1216

    • @RaggedyPack
      @RaggedyPack  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a great catch, 100% Cad Bane shot his drawing arm on purpose. A duel to see who’s the fastest hand under the Twin Suns would be EPIC, but I don’t think Bane would be stupid enough to duel someone full in Beskar. - Wyatt

    Haha it's not that they don't want Jedi's emotions to get out of control lol it's a matter of not becoming so emotionally attached to someone that letting go of them, when the inevitable happens, becomes an insurmountable task.
    _"Fear of loss is a path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."_
    He definitely needs more training, if he's going to overcome his fear.
    That's what Anakin's whole issue was. He was _so_ afraid of losing Padmé the same way he lost his mother, that he literally made a deal with the devil to try and prevent it from happening, when he started having premonitions about her dying in childbirth.
    Yoda told him specifically, when he came to him asked for advice, on what he should do, to train himself to let go of everything he feared losing. _"Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not, miss them do not."_
    It's something we all share, we dread the day our parents eventually pass away, because we usually outlive them naturally, and anybody else. Any loved one, we are arguably more afraid of the death of someone we love than anything else.
    But, the difference between being a Jedi and being a Sith is selflessness vs selfishness.
    It's inherently selfish to want to prevent someone from dying primarily because of the way it would make YOU feel. "How can I live without her?" Or; "I can't go on without him!" Those sentiments are automatically about yourself, self-centered, selfish, jealous, etc.
    Instead, the Jedi don't avoid all attachments altogether as much as they train themselves to be accepting, especially when it's something natural or outside of your control. (Make sense?)
    Celebrating someone's life, when they die. Preserving their legacy and, most importantly, letting go.
    It's the answer Yoda straight up told Anakin, but it was something that Anakin simply couldn't do. He didn't have the emotional maturity, because he imagined he could become powerful enough to actually never have to.
    Something that Palpatine expertly used to manipulate him, his fear of losing Padmé.
    It's also something many people, (understandably,) overlook or misinterpret. In the Star Wars Universe itself, (the Mandalorian Armorer, etc.) and out here, in the fandom.
    (That's all I'm sayin' ✌)

    Have you seen the Bad Batch show already? Because if you have not SPOILERS regarding certain things said this episode and the unfinished Clone Wars arc with Boba and Cad:
    Cad Bane was in the Bad Batch, the way he looked here and he had a metal plate on his head which indicates that the cancelled Clone Wars arc with him and Boba duelling and both shooting at each others heads is in fact still canon, Cad just didn't die during his encounter with Boba which explains how he was still alive then and now.

    Got to give credit to Codd, the Deputy drew first yet Bane shot Codd first knowing he was clearly the faster Draw then shot the Deputy. Even though the deputy drew first if he shot him first that might have gave Codd enough time to shoot Bane, so he took him down first, then went for the much slowly Deputy who was way out of his league in that line up.

    Best way to retcon that ducking garbage.
    1. Do a 'Path of Luke Skywalker' series.

    3. Instead of Snokes, bring Grand Admiral Thrawn as the Main Antagonist and start a new Trilogy.

Meanwhile Din is in the middle of a war battle where our guys are starting to loose outnumbered by the pykes' army. Luke is forced to jump and slaughter an army where we see his absolute prime that will mark our souls for ever! What else can top ep:6 that topped ep:5 unless we see some insane action. Boba riding a Rancor that will be killed by Cad Bane, Luke vs an army of pykes and defending his home planet. R2-D2 gets reunited with R5-D4! And the Power Rangers summon their robot animals to form Voltron!
