It’s pretty nuts how much best selling games 20-30 years ago go for now. Gold and Silver are both common games. They sold like 20 million combined. It’s crazy how expensive they are. I get Neo Geo AES and Saturn prices being stupid. Those games didn’t sell well. Especially AES. I mean games like Samurai Showdown V on AES only has a few hundred copies in existence. Panzer Dragoon Saga on Saturn for the US was less than 5,000 copies. Makes sense they’d be stupid expensive. But stuff like Pokémon Gold being 300 bucks with a box? Game sold at least ten million copies over its lifetime. The market is what it is but I don’t understand it at all.
@BLNK BLNKRSN it's not sealed in this video. But one of the reasons the games are so expensive now is because a lot of people became pokemon fans after Pokemon Go blew up a few years ago. It has probably one of the largest fan bases across any media. So yes, it sold 10 million copies but now there are probably 50 million people who enjoy pokemon.

Can't stop looking at that Hannah Montana game next to him.
Crazy how you remember that about the I spy book fair lol I can’t remember anything from school and I’m prob around ur age too
Well, time to get Brandon back on the mic for Crash Bash ROUND TWO! … was it Brandon? Man that was forever ago. Anyway, I got a PS5 finally! Happy new year!
i like how he opens amazon packages with a knife when you can just rip them open...lol
Love these videos, Heart Gold would be a great next purchase for your pokemon collection.
Calling it now, is it Shantae?
Nevermind, I looked up that game on eBay. It's actually insane.
I have to reseat about 50% of the PS4 games that arrive from Amazon, you can do it with 1 press with 1 finger, it’s very easy
Mindful of being an adult, 2 seconds later sheer excitement for parapa the rapper
@Whatsap me +❶❽❶❸❺❸⓿❻❷❼❽ shut up fool
Danganronpa is such an amazing series. I know you love Persona, and while the story and gameplay are completely different it has very similar magnetic pull towards the characters. You just can't help but to like them. Definitely recommend, it's super unique game
DanGanRonpa & the Zero Escape series were my favorite experiences on the VITA
I'd second that ^ If you're curious whether or not it's going to be for you, I'd at least playthrough the first trial before judging it.
@@journeysilvers9838 completely agree, before the first trial you are a bit confused what is going on and when it hits everything clicks and you instantly know what this game will be about.
No way, he got CRASHEM BASHEM
Sonic and Knuckles mag just in time for the movie.
Had more fun playing crash bash last year than any other party game
I've just hopefully got a new job and I'll be able to start collecting again...cannot wait.
I use my student loan money for my games
@@unicorntomboy9736 I did when I was a student :')
@@PupRiku I'm doing English Literature & Creative Writing, so I read a lot of books when I'm not playing video games. Plus I "borrow" story ideas from video games for my assignments, mainly the Assassin's Creed games
I got a pretty good (ehhh) raise
I will start to collect soon again. I stop about 6 months ago.
@@unicorntomboy9736 I love a good book too.
My man just read perfect Japanese on that Parapa disc?! How did I not know this? 🇯🇵🇺🇸
Trover is one of the funniest games that I’ve ever played.
Ryan these are the best videos!!!! Omg Ryan!!!
I wish they did physical pc releases of games in the US
I would have a physical copy of doki doki literature club if it was on pc
When it comes to Fire Emblem, I buy first and ask questions later. So, I totally understand the sentiment with the Danganronpa Trilogy!😅👌🏻 You only need to be burned once before starting to err on the side of caution😔
Looking at your Pokemon gold remind me of my copy of Fire Emblem GBA boxed.
man, it really blows that you only got the standard Jewel case for PS1 Games in the US.
And not the chuky ones we got in Europe...
Hope you do a new video on all your collections at some point when your happy with it, it would be cool to see.
i loved i spy books back in elementary
crystal is the only mainline game I don't have 😭 got every other one at release except that and yellow, which my best friend traded to me. glad I got my copy of emerald for 5 bucks on clearance back in like 08 😳
I bet there are tons of people who still have pokemon gold but have no clue that it's worth a lot, lol!
His hair is looking better I wonder if he's using stuff like keeps on his hair.
Dang, I wish I had kept my Pokemon Red/Blue/Silver/Crystal boxes and booklets. Still have the carts at least.
Woah that copy of Pokémon gold looks beautiful man
My wife and I bought a Pokemon yellow loose cart with no label for $100. This was back in 2017.
At some point a hobby might become an obsession where it takes all your money and time. Watch out for this to happen Ryan. There is more in this life than games.
You need to do a full tour of your room and all your games 🙏
