Yeah, you’ve got that right. I don’t even take warm up laps at the park without being fully padded up. Things can go bad real quickly. I am trying to put this Ransom to the full test. I didn’t think I needed Cush Core in the front wheel. I was wrong 😆.
It is an X-Fusion rear shock. I was really surprised at how well it worked. The only thing I didn’t like about the stock shock was the lack of and independent compression adjustment. So, you can limit the travel and lock it out, but not adjust compression other than with air pressure. It rode pretty well and I used it for over a year. I recently spotted a RockShox deluxe nude on sale with all the shops going out of business and upgraded for like $265. The RockShox is a little more plush, but I didn’t notice the X-fusion lacking until I upgraded it.
@@dua4436 it works very well. I was completely surprised when I replaced the damper in it. It just had some plug that has slight taper. Pro tip: you can use any of the charger dampers to the same generation Zebs. I have a base model Zeb Charger in mine now!
@@BMXPete i know it , I am also at the point in time of spending thousands repairing my Subaru up to road worthy lately that's the only thing holding me back a little 😆😀

@@BMXPete I haven't had a full suspension since I bought a 2009 Kona stinky garbanzo off a man who had injured his ankle so he wouldn't ride anymore, it got stolen one night when I was drunk.. I was heartbroken! I was also looking at a 27.5 Kona process what do you think of those?
I haven’t seen the new ones, but Kona has always made some solid bikes. I work at a Kona dealer about 10 years ago and was impressed with the product back then.
That’s exactly why I wear all my pads man, dude you are ripping it!!! Getting loose on that Ransom!
