How do you do it?! Seriously, I’m almost 35 with NO KIDS and if I have a doctors appt I get maybe one other thing done that day and then I’m like “ok well that’s enough for the day”. You’re awesome! Literally you’re the woman across the room to me and probably most of us here! ❤

Exactly! I am like you! Now when I have 3 kids (smallest is 2 months older than Wolfgang) and if I have to take kids to doctor's or something, that's all I get done. Even dinner is a struggle. 😮💨

Kimberly whisk! I have the same diffuser! When it rotates to a color you like, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. You can also turn the color off (but keep it diffusing) if you press and hold for 3 seconds again :)

I love that you post early-I love to listen to you while I’m doing a few chores before work. This weekend I’m cleaning out a room for my daughter moving back home after college. Life is expensive as a young adult, so I’m happy to give her a place to live and save up!
Melissa that’s so wonderful of you! You’re a wonderful Mom! My parents were very strict if I wasn’t going to college then I was paying them rent. It all felt very uncaring not like family but like a landlord. Now we are living rent free in the house below my in laws house (same house but a whole house on the bottom floor) rent free on the ocean! God is so good!

I finally figured it out. I think you are one of a set of triplets! Because it would take at least three of you to accomplish everything you do every day. I’ve mentioned before I had a large family too, and I never did the amount of things in one day that you do your one day would be a week for me and that is no joke and my kids are all raised now and I feel like I did a pretty good job, but when I look at all that you do and still cook all those home-cooked meals …I bow to you😊
I grew up watching the parent trap with Hailey Mills I say grow up ( the movie came out in 1961) I wasn’t born until 1985 however my mom had it on VHs and I loved it.
I buy powdered buttermilk from Walmart. I never have it when I need it, so the powder has saved me!
Air B&B, means vacation for everyone except mom. You just get to cook and clean a different place. 😂😂😂😂

My nephew has been deployed and then relocated for a few years. They opted to list their home on Air bnb and they get $600 a night! They can keep their SD home and make extra income while he’s deployed!
Look into squatters rights where you are, there's way too many nightmare squatters here in Michigan to make it worth our while. They give the tenants more rights than the homeowner and it takes forever to get them to leave! 😮

Airbnb’s are awesome!! We always stay in one when we go on vacation, way cheaper than a hotel and so much more comfortable. We go with my sister in law and her family and we get a place big enough for all of us. We usually use VRBO but basically the same thing.

We did the titanic experience last year, it is worth every penny. The tickets were for family of four, 2 adults two kids, $80. I’m sure you could buy extra tickets for the other children.
Hello girly….. have you tried a cleaning party before bed time. Set the timer for 15 minutes and give each of your kids a task. They may like racing against time. Some can help you in the kitchen, your older girls are old enough to help with the stove. Another one can do the floor, while you do the dishes and the two other ones pick up the living room with the hubby 🤷🏻♀️ It won’t always be perfect, but as you say, good enough is good enough. ❤ just an idea 🤷🏻♀️
I love hanging out with you Kim! My kitchen is usually a mess too! Most of the dishes go in the dishwasher but a few things I have to handwash like skillets. I really like your laundry room! When my son was a toddler he ate too many rainbow goldfish and had weird colored feces. 😅 Our summer will be busy. We live/work at a camp, so there's that. Also my 3 sons are part of the cast of the Great Passion Play. 3 nights a week they are doing that. They also have a few church camps to attend.

I was intrigued with your diffuser and see that you can select 1 light color. It says to press and hold the button for 5 seconds. Then if you want to turn the light off press and hold the button for 5 seconds again. Don’t know if it will work, but you can try. I enjoy watching you, you have such a positive attitude. Here's two recipes that are so fast to make, but your family would think it's fantastic:
Use two tubes of croissants and a thick sauce, made with two lbs ground meat and jarred spaghetti sauce, to make a rich, delicious very quick version of Kim's casserole. Roll out one roll of croissant dough to fit the bottom of a 9×13 greased pan (if you buy the sheet of croissant dough, instead of the triangles, you don't have to pinch seams together). Put a thick favorite filling of ground meat, cooked, with some of a large jar of spaghetti sauce over bottom crust, put filling over bottom uncooked crust, cover with cheese of choice (sharp cheddar adds a depth of flavor), cover with the other tube of croissants, rolled out to cover the filling. Sprinkle more cheese. Bake at 350-375 for appx 30 mins, until top crust is golden brown.
Use any leftover spaghetti sauce to make a quick lunch or dinner of pizza puffs, using plain hamburger buns, or English muffins (LIGHTLY toast the buns or English muffins before adding topping), put pasta sauce, from the jar, on each half of bun, put desired toppings, or just mozzarella cheese, or cheese you have, bake until cheese is bubbly and golden brown. So delicious, and something a teen could throw together for an after school snack.

I’d love to see the titanic museum in Belfast. I have 2 grandsons 8 & 9 going from Glasgow to Belfast to the museum in 1 day. They are going by ferry and don’t come back until after midnight. They are both excited beyond belief to be going I just hope they don’t get seasick. The house looks so cute. X

We have 20 days left of school until Summer… how is that possible? Our summer plans are to make a bucket list and enjoy each other’s company while doing travel Basketball. High School is so busy. Buy another box of hangers at Costco and put them all in your closet, I know that sounds crazy but it will help you put your clothes away, I promise. We did the Titanic experience in Orlando not the dinner but just the museum part. It's very interesting if your a Titanic buff. When you check in they assign you a "passenger" and at the end of the exhibit you can find out if your passenger survived or perished. I myself am a huge Titanic buff and I automatically knew the name of the passenger I was assigned. Very cool and touching at the same time.

It’s easy to make butter milk, add 1/2 lemon juice to a cup of milk. Then let sit for 15 minutes. Then you have you butter milk. Easy to do.

I've been studying the Titanic since 3rd grade way before the James Cameron movie came out and let me tell ya, those experiences are well worth it. Just DO IT. It was the last thing that my grandfather was healthy enough to do together before he died and I will always cherish those memories.

I like the idea of an AirBnb if someone else is doing the cleaning between guests. You have too much on your plate right now to be cleaning a 2nd house.
Tampa is only an hour from Orlando. Maybe an orlando air b and b could be Alex's side hustle. It would also give your family nearby staycations when it's not rented out!
Kim!! We had family for years who lived close to Orlando and we went last summer and went to SeaWorld for such a reasonable price, four of us went for less than one ticket to Disney and had such a fun day - great for all ages! Orca show was our favorite!!

Just do a cruise already! I think it's the perfect vacay for your family. Tons of included, yummy food, so no cooking for the whole week. Plus, tons of activities for the kiddos including a water park and a Kid's Club for all ages to be entertained. 😃

I deep cleaned my kitchen while the fam was out. After basking in the glory of a completely clean kitchen for all but 10 minutes, family came home. Husband states “ I’m going to try and pickle my own jalapeños”! So much for a clean kitchen 😢. Should have taken a picture for the fridge with a note about my expectations of kitchen use. They probably wouldn’t read it anyway. It’s a never ending chore.
Kim, how do you set up rules for snacks with your kids? even though my kids also like healthy snacks, if I was to make an accessible drawer with chocolate bars in it, that is ALL my kids would eat and they would spoil their appetite for anything else. PLEASE share your method!!!!

That blueberry cake you made looked fantastic! My mom used to make blueberry cupcakes using a similar recipe. Loved the Mexican Bake, too! Definitely try to see the Titanic exhibit if you can. The older kids will appreciate it - especially if they've seen the movie or discussed it in school - but the littles may be bored. From what I could see, it looks like that AirBNB needs a lot of work. Great idea, but maybe a different property.
