Great to be back everyone! Had some life changing things happen in my life so I apologize for the absence. Don’t worry they were positive ones that I’ll be making a video about in the future!
Never thought of the Kroger card. You are the first credit card video I've seen that mentioned the 5% mobile wallet reward. Something new to add to the list. Thanks. 😁👍
You can get the Smith's, Fred Meyer and Ralph's version of this US Bank card and hold all 4 at the same time. Hard to get them and credit limits are LOW...BUT 12,000 spend...600 cash back a year. No fee. World Elite card.
Great selection of cards here Eric! That Kroger card is really good with that 5% on mobile wallet purchases. I wish the cap was higher (or no cap at all, hah!), but there's only so much you can expect from a no annual fee card like that one!
Kroger has a bunch of subsidiaries and they each have their own credit card that has the same 5% mobile wallet deal up to that $3000 cap. There's a theory that you could get, say, a Kroger card and a Ralphs card and get $3k spend on each one at 5% back. I haven't seen anyone try it who can confirm or deny that theory.
Can you make a video of how you got the Cash+ card with your datapoints like did you have a previous relationship with US bank what was credit score , any hard inquiries etc
Nice list! People overlook many good cash back cards that don't have a ton of advertising behind it. Custom cash is one thay want since it earns points. Great video
Citi closing the loophole on the number of Custom Cashes you can have isn’t ideal, but it’s a strong card. I wish the Kroger card had more than a $3k limit. But that 5% mobile wallet is awesome. More cards need mobile Wallet. I’d pay for it alone…great video Eric!
Love that you took a look at some overlooked Cards out there, that don't really get talked about too much. I don't personally have the Citi Custom Cash, but my wife has it within our 2 Player Setup and it works really well as our dedicated Gas Station Card. Also loving the new setup Eric! Great video!
It’s funny I actually saw that Reddit post too! I never even go on there really but I happened to see that post ha. I loved this video concept Eric, and I agree those cards really are slept on! Had no idea of the power of the Kroger Card!
As a non American, please explain to me how these creditcard company's make money when they simply give away money and are not even charging U for annual use..
The US has very high merchant fees compared to the rest of the world, the business has to pay a small fee on every transaction that goes to the bank. People that carry balances month to month usually pay more in interest than they get in rewards.

Also with the Kroger credit card you get $.55 off per gallon at Kroger gas stations.
oh yeah! That’s something I didn’t mention because it is a bit more location based but you are correct!

Heyy great to be first at something. The Kroger card is absolutely amazing.

You forgot the AAA Travelers rewards card. It's just like the AAA Daily rewards card, but has 5% back on gas.
Also a great card!

Exactly, regardless 5% is pretty amazing. Especially for someone like me that rarely hits the spending cap for the freedom flex.

People do commonly overlook amazing cashback cards. Hoping to add the custom cash to my arsenal soon!
You forgot to mention AAA VISA TRAVEL SIGNATURE VISA ALSO 5% ON GAS.
Really slept on

Thanks Matt! I agree!
Another great upload!
Thanks James! 🙏
I’m a big fan of the Verizon card.
Same!
My only question about Kroger, what type of credit limits are they issuing? Let’s not forget card is issued by US Bank, they are very stingy with CL

Thanks Matt! I definitely need to add the citi custom cash to my wallet!

The Kroger Card is the best card imo!
As a non American, please explain to me how these creditcard company's make money when they simply give away money and are not even charging U for annual use..
Because on the back end, they'll make more money off the "fees"!
