Thanks BSG you have so many ammo types in the game but people only use 1 or 2 because they suck, its the illusion of choice.
its just that theres no good ammo scarcity... your not supposed to be able to fill your entire mag with armor piercing problem solved. be force to play shit ammo. Remove all good ammo from traders barters ETC. gotta find or suffer.

@@RS-nc2fs true. But he belongs on the EFT Mount Rushmore (Ruzmov bc RU) imo, so to me it would make sense that they wouldn’t do him like that. Most of the player base (including myself) got hooked because of him. I still played through the Unheard drama but agree with what he’s saying.

If you like a gun you can use it even if you think it's ass. I like running the AUG or 5.45 AKs even though there's much better guns out there.

15:45. I swear nades have magnetic features in the last update. I've had so many scavs hit longballs where I'm really far from where the explosion should be, and its under my feet. Had one today where I was entirely around a corner by the time it dinked, 20+feet away and behind a bench, and it sucked to me, right under my feet

Use m855a1 or better. I’m constantly cycling between m855a1 and m61 crafts. 300 blackout AP craft will prob be worth if I grind out the Reserve raider kills.
Edit: M855a1 should be on the traders (can still be quest locked), and we should be able to craft m995. We already have SSA AP as the premium FIR 556 bullet. This matches the progression for 7.62x51 NATO.
Regardless, that last spray on the first raid was insane.

to be fair when you get hit 15+ times from 56A1 at close range you should be dead no matter what plates you run.
Its the only ammo you can buy lol(at least pre plate rework you could hit torso a lot easier)

Brother you're still running 56A1 lol it is NOT an end wipe round at alllllllllllllll. It's not surprising a round with only like 38 pen is struggling to get through lvl 5 and 6 plates. Granted still doesn't put 556 in a great place with not being able to craft 995 but damn it's not a wonder that 56A1 isn't killing to thorax on absolute juicers lol.
Yes and its just doesnt make any sense. Why would a 556 round take 50 shots adsorbed by armor? In a "realistic Hardcore Shooter"?
It's the bigger picture. BSG can't balance ammo or armor.
He got shot over a dozen times in the chest with a rifle and kept fighting, either BSG should drop the whole "hyper-realistic" thing and remarket EFT as a COD competitor or actually balance how ammo and armor interact, it's a complete joke and the fact you guys try to defend this shit is sad
@turnermd1302 I didn't defend anything. I pointed out the obvious to anyone who plays tarkov that using a early/mid wipe round in the end of wipe when everyone is running level 5 and 6 armor plates and wondering why the bullets aren't penetrating the armor is completely out of their mind (should armor tank that many rounds in general? No. But its what we got with insane BSG at the helm). I'm saying it makes no sense that he has full access to higher tier rounds but doesnt use them and uses a inferior round and is confused why it isn't performing well. I'm actually shocked that Tony hasn't been crafting and using 55A1 instead of 56A1 since he unlocked the craft for it AGES ago. Using 56A1 late wipe and trying to spray through chest armor is just a delusional plan.
How does he get to play against bots? I enter dorms like that i'll get sound whored from 70 meters away and insta headed by someone holding a 1 pixel angle.

So Tony killed a scav, 4 players and engaged a 5th player before dying in that first sequence with the HK. Hit count was 92. He shot the scav 3-4 times, lets just say 4... That means 88 hits between 5 players for an average of 17.6 hits per PMC. That is INSANE

Can someone explain why the unheard edition is pissing so many people off.. I paid what $140 for EOD ages ago no one complained about that absurd price.. We just bought it.. If you don't like the $250 price tag pay the $40 get the game... Is $250 a lot yes.. Would i pay $250 for a game? No especially if i've never played it before.. Would i complain about a $250 edition if one was available? No, i'd get the $40 edition and play the game...
The constant bitching about the $250 edition is mind boggling to me.. Just don't buy it, its that simple stick with EOD like everyone else.

m856a1 has always been inconsistent late wipe, now its just more obvious. I never use 5.56 past when people are rocking t4/5 sometimes on average. Fire rate is nice but the m4 is in a weird spot. Close range you want an smg (at least pre patch) for fire rate and best in slot smg ammo is pretty comparable. Long range you'd rather have 7.62x51/54 for bullet pen. honestly id trust a 7.62 mdr close range over a m4 any day as well. 5.56 is butt cheeks. M4/HK is alright at everything, master of none

you are aiming for their thorax/chest and not head. M856A1 (red tip) cant go through level 5 and 6. most people are running level 5 and 6.

It's a rule with BSG at this point. For every step forward they take two steps back. Armor is now working, 98% of ammo is now useless.
It's just that they don't take kinetic energy into account at all. It's either penetrating or not penetrating. Armor might be working now but you still wouldn't be on your feet after 4 556 rounds hit your chest

People are walking tanks now thanks to the dumbed down armor system. We need the realistic plates back, add in a vitals hitbox. No more tanks, and no grazing armpit shots.

i think cheaters are server/time dependent and if they know who you are. for example, got killed by a cheater group, called it out in voice (teammate died first saw 46 K/D lol) and then they proceeded to try stream sniping me (not knowing i only play 1 server at a time and changed it immediately), it was hilarious. they got like 8 people trying to do it.
for hard cheaters i probably ran into 5-7 of them out of probably like 120+ people. i get sus deaths like maybe theyre using ESP but otherwise its pretty rare.

If you're struggling in this game then you just gotta learn how to be/play better. change your playstyle. I can spend a whole raid if im being petty/watching teammates bodies. This game is also 10x harder to solo players than to people that are at least with 1 other person.

Are you equating somebody outplaying you to a cheater who is actively using software to know your location and kill you with aimbot? How are they the same? Why even waste your time?
Let's just be honest, there is hardly any skill to a game that has most of it's players simply out gear and out level you not to mention paying for an advantage ONTOP of cheaters and RMT's and you're still willing to play with the deck that stacked against you? Why? There is no "playing better" when you die by cheaters which infest the game. People play how the game forces them too play, punishing any player who moves slowly and methodically with sound and rewarding the W key sprinters who benefeitt from BSG netcode.
You know what's even harder? Playing a game that is practically rigged against you from bad game design, tedious time wasting mechanics, lack of reward for time spent, and cheaters who ruin the raids you join.
With so many better games that actually care about the time you spend with it, why are you still addicted to this failure of software?

Why would you play elden ring and spend mad hours in a game that punishes you more than you 'win'. why play balduer gate 3 when you can die because of 1 mistake in the later stages of the game. why play racing games when you just do loops. why play league of legends, its the same game with just rng of different players. you can find the flaws of each game.

No, what im saying is if you're struggling because youre playing the whole raid every single time, you just suck at the game. Most players dont actually die by cheaters unless you live in specific regions or play on specific time frames. Does it happen more than most other shooters not really, but its more punishing on games like tarkov and you know the difference because of the game like tarkov. on COD you might not even notice unless hes just aim snapping at everyone in the lobby. but if its regular TDM you might not even know how many you ran into. In tarkov its easy to know because of how insta lock people shoot at you or just straight up run to you with 0 knowledge of your whereabouts.
This games #1 skill is map knowledge. Everyone has said this and sound que's. Your gun and gear dont matter THAT heavily besides to sometimes save you from mistakes.Your rounds are the 2nd most important thing. If you die to someone 'out geared' then you played it wrong. you dont know what their armor looks like, you dont know your own rounds do/pen. thats a YOU problem. IDK how *big*(edit) you think RMt is on this game lol.
What other games do what tarkov does but better? grayzone was a running sim, arena is boring and a lot of dead moments, lostlight is cool but also has a cheater problem. what other captures tarkov type play.

Isn't that exactly what we expect from armor? That it works. It's much better to be able to take a few bullets in a fight than to fall over immediately. Otherwise we'll end up with what we had before, where everyone wears max LV4 armor because LV5 and LV6 aren't worth it in terms of price/performance. I prefer fights that last longer, the TTK is a bit higher and you also have a chance to fight back. Sure, at the end maybe 2-3 types of ammunition are meta, but they were meta even before the armor adjustment. There's also the problem that 99% of players know the old systems and so notice a difference. For new players, that's normal. Think about it.
And here I am in arena breakout. 350k loot, 1 kill and 98 objects looted and only 6 bullets shot
