@@crisspx7231 agree the core mechanics have been f'ed for an extremely long time. Sound is still a huge issue and bsg can't get sound to work for a few years which is laughable.

Not everyone has the crippling disability of needing to feel better than someone in a fucking video game of all things. There is nothing wrong with being competitive but your comment sounds like someone who makes being better than someone are necessary part of their identity as a person this is a very toxic and burdensome frame of mind to be in. Seek help. It's actually very liberating to just play a game for fun rather than to reinforce a pervert sense of self worth, you should try it some time.
@@lowkeypotatos4416 you're the one coping tbh, I have 8k hours in pvp and have dropped players like Viibiin on labs in straight up gunfights. PVE is genuinely just more fun at the moment because theres so many little things that make the game less fun than it used to be in a pvp setting

@@Opachki69420 game is less fun since they added inertia I agree but I don't get no dopamine from killing ai PMC(glorified raiders). i have 5k hours and I've killed viibiin landmark and other streamers that point you made has no meaning.

Ammo either needs a buff across the board or armor needs to be reworked AGAIN. Almost no ammo is viable except the larger caliber, high tier bullets.
They just need to add some ammo’s back like 55a1 or 995

Yes! @9:28 - that's right! I wish they would cut the waiting time in on-line mode by just removing conditions players to join. Like cap it at 2 minutes waiting for players, if no, join as a single PMC. ABI waiting for a match time is excellent 👌 so I am sure it's possible
If they did that raids would constantly be empty and everyone may as well be playing PVE at that point
Streets been horrible past couple of days. So many bugs it's insane. Invisibility, no sound, all kinda bullshit.
this wipe ive been having tons of fun with the 9x21 p ammo. its dirt cheap, and does a lot of damage. with the fire rate of the shrimp2 it doesnt matter what ammo it is. and one is bound to hit an open area and deal massive dmg.

I love pvp tarkov but for the reason you stated about the grinding I like the pve better. Working a 9-5 and all the other responsibilities it provides a way to reach Kappa and max traders. Also its nice to not worry about cheaters and seeing how much loot really is on a map before a vacuum cleaner sucks it all up. plus the AI is a bit cracked at times but I like it.
So we have new armor buff that plate protect whole thorax except for armpits (but with some rigs like CPC protects also armpits) with greatly increased durability of Plates (Cult Locust has same durability like whole Gen 4 HMK in past) and aramid layers that stop weak rounds and decrease damage.
it looks like it would have been quicker to leg them than aim for the body, might as well run Warmage if you are gonna run 5.56 now it look like.

This video is out at the perfect time. I also got mad at 5.56 not being worth shit anymore. I could barely kill a scav with no armor with M856A1 so I sold ALL of my 5.56 guns - until I can get access to M995, I will stick to my Spear.

What you're doing is not forcing people trying to have a chill time to fight against ultra-sweats and hackers.
6.8 creedmoor vs armor is basically a piece of paper being shot by a cannon. its merely a suggestion that you may have armor.
i don't play much at the moment, when i do i use 7.62 M61 and i still see like 10-20% of the damage i deal absorbed by armor, this is crazy, i dont feel like using any other ammo, 5.56 55a1 is a garbage now too - all that crafted ammo wasted
with new armor system, ppl being abled to craft infinite tier 5 plates and buying tier 6 ones, i think traders should be selling all the tier 4/5 bullets and if not adding more stock to the ones that we can already buy (55a1, bp 762, bp 565, cbj) because it makes no sense that everyone is runing a cpc tier 5 armor and i can only buy 144 56a1 (a tier 3 ammo) every 3 hours
can't even buy 55a1 anymore it for removed from traders, best 5.56 you can buy is 56a1

i think PvE is good cause it gives not so good players an easier chance to get comfortable with maps, guns, loot routes, etc. Im straight up not good at pvp and theres some maps i never really touched so now im able to learn them and the loot, as well as play with the loadouts id be dead scared to lose in pvp. I think ill get to a point soon where i feel comfortable with my abilities and return to pvp
I mean yeah 56A1 is a mid tier round, it can't really be expected to perform well against high tier armor or else what would be the point of 55A1 and the others lol. That said though 56A1 should've been unlocked at PK2 like it was before and 55A1 at PK4 and M995 be the craft-able workbench ammo for 556 to help it keep up with the later game armors. Other than that just shoot for the head lol. And then the raid after that another dude eats M62 308 like candy so it's not so much a 556 problem as it is bullets can't seem to pen the armor with BSG keeping the hard plates and soft armor mechanics.

I personally don't know anyone who plays PvE that was playing PvP. All my friends hate PvP and quick playing tarkov fairly early.. Now they live on PvE having a good time.. All my PvP mostly stay to PvP unless one of our PvE friends need help with like lighthouse for example.. But i dn't think it really splits the player base at all..

9:00 I disagree with this statement. People who mostly play PVE mode are the people who wouldn't be playing live either way because they don't have 40 hours/week to devote to the game to get good. They would always die to chads on a daily basis. I simply play SPT now and will never go back to live EFT due to the cheater problem. People who play the PVE mode are the ones who are on their way to start playing SPT, since we have mods :)

They went too far for sure. The whole point of the armor change was to make it so you weren’t basically invulnerable to lower level players and now it’s worse than even before. Like you’re basically invincible. All they had to do was make the armor hit box bigger, not COMPLETELY enclose your torso like a turtle shell.
^That or totally rework all ammo.
I think the previous iteration of armor would be perfect if they just introduced like a “chest vitals” hit-box that basically consist of the area your heart, lungs and liver are, and then have the plates cover that area. One reason the plate system sucked was that ALL of your chest hitbox counts as a vital hit. So you’d get one shot potentially in like the armpit or shoulder area. Make that area NOT vital and add a ‘Chest Vital’ area.
People seem to think that if they put in the grind, they SHOULD be invulnerable to lower level players. That’s where the divide comes in with this game and its player base.
Personally they should have 100% left the armor system where it was at previously this wipe, and like you mentioned, adjust hit boxes. The shit we have now is loony toons level of ‘gamery’.

I have objection on the PvE matter. O have EoD since 2021, but I had no interest in playing cos of wipes and burnouts. But I came back for PvE so as my 3 friends. I suppose that's a common story

As a gamer dad I want to state my real reason: I'm too F@#$ing old for the toxicity and cheating of the regular game. I have hardly any time to play video games, and I just want to actually enjoy my time, not deal with someone else sh@#tty kids.
