We adopted a street dog in January, he was 1 month old and unvaccinated. In march i was playing with him and his tooth gave me a little scratch on hand and little blood less than a drop came. I washed it with water but didn't take vaccine. In April while playing his tooth gave a small cut on my hand and i took three vaccine. Its been 7 months now and my dog is very healthy. Sir I was standing near the vegetable shop folding hands at the back suddenly a stray dog unexpectedly smells my finger and I was very alert so immediately I have found a drop of saliva on my finger, i was not sure a small wound two three days ago was there or just below it but it was not bleeding for sure and immediately with a pouch of water I pour on it and within ten minutes I reached my home and wash my hands with soap and water for few minutes. @@rk-lw9mw The dog was behaving very differently and also there was saliva dropping from his mouth and his eyes were very red. Also the dog died after 6 days of these symptoms. I think these were findings of rabies, do let me know if I am wrong.

The dog was behaving very differently and also there was saliva dropping from his mouth and his eyes were very red. Also the dog died after 6 days of these symptoms. I think these were findings of rabies, do let me know if I am wrong.

Unfortunately not, I had a very minor scratch and when I showed this to the doctor, he didn't recommended immunoglobulin. Now I have completed all my 5 doses of vaccine.

Sir i got bitten by sick dog which got me wound and bleeding, i immediately rush to primary health care and got myself T.T and Vaccine. However the dog died next day and i rush to medical care which they gave me Immunoglobulin (after 24 hrs of bitten), and continue my vaccination dose. Am i doing it right? Is this prevention method?
