This theme hits all the classic "Toby Fox Battle Theme" Tropes and I love it. It starts out strong and introduces a catchy melody which ever so slightly evolves and changes as the song progresses, it goes quiet near the middle and has the bell/music box tone, but still keeps the melody. Then it comes back stronger than ever and has the super powerful Battle climax part, and then it goes back to the regular melody. I really love his music he truly understands how to make a battle theme compelling. and also The Baby is You

I am being reminded of Undyne the Undying. "Battle Against a True Hero" theme. This theme holds the Toby Fox feel. But he also somehow kept the Pokémon music feel at the same time. He's amazing.

Dreams really do come true. Also you can really tell it was composed by Toby Fox based on the key it's in, and how each segment flows, usually a mellow part being inserted and then said mellow part being repeated, except way stronger (Such is prominent in Battle Against A True Hero). It's not something the normal person would come across, but if you've heard most of Undertale's soundtrack and listened to it for a while, you can really tell.
When you beat Leon in the Tower, you can unlock the ability to fight him in the Champion league rematches where he'll have the highest level NPC team in the game with 3 mons at level 70, 1 at 69 and 1 at 68.
Leon = Sans = Ness, and this is confirmed by the upcoming announcement that Leon will be included as the fifth DLC character in Ultimate with the Galar stage. Thus all of Ness's variations will be playable.
I had caught a Yamper and nicknamed him Toby when I played through the campaign, for obvious reasons. Kept him the entire time, he ended up being my highest leveled 'mon at 63 going into Leon's championship battle. He, after all the rest of my team had fainted was the one to take down Charizard. Knowing now that this is the Battle Tower theme and that Leon is the tycoon makes my choice in nickname all the more fitting.

I see people ragging on this theme for “not sounding like Pokémon music”, and to that I say GOOD! Pokémon needs to experiment more with its music, especially the battle themes, and they did a hell of a good job with that in this generation! The only battle theme I was let down by was Avery’s but only because the lack of consistent percussion made it feel kinda empty.
The song doesn’t sound like the traditional Pokémon themes because it was made by Toby Fox, and he made it his style of music. The melody is based off of a *chuckle* mpreg Homestuck music shitpost that he made and you can hear a small part of “Battle Against A True Hero” from undertale in this song.
New battle themes haven't sounded like traditional Pokémon since XY, so honestly this isn't so bad, it helps that Toby Fox's musical style is so catchy and awesome regardless of if you're an Undertale fan or not

Honestly, the battle tower theme is one of my favorite tracks by Toby Fox. It's feels like he took bits from both his work on Homestuck and Undertale and took a Pokemon-styled spin on it. 10/10, it's up there with stuff like Battle Against a True Hero and Oppa Toby Style in terms of my favorite Fox tracks.

Foxman Plays to be fair, I could be wrong, but I could see sword shield DLC being released down the line, more Pokemon added to the wild area (100ish added to dex) gym leader rematches, and new challengers at the battle tower, probably won’t happen but we can hope. Then again, can you imagine the shit storm Gamefreak would receive if they tried to charge on DLC after the no national dex controversy

This theme hits all the classic "Toby Fox Battle Theme" Tropes and I love it. It starts out strong and introduces a catchy melody which ever so slightly evolves and changes as the song progresses, it goes quiet near the middle and has the bell/music box tone, but still keeps the melody. Then it comes back stronger than ever and has the super powerful Battle climax part, and then it goes back to the regular melody. I really love his music he truly understands how to make a battle theme compelling.

I had caught a Yamper and nicknamed him Toby when I played through the campaign, for obvious reasons. Kept him the entire time, he ended up being my highest leveled 'mon at 63 going into Leon's championship battle. He, after all the rest of my team had fainted was the one to take down Charizard.

I see people ragging on this theme for “not sounding like Pokémon music”, and to that I say GOOD! Pokémon needs to experiment more with its music, especially the battle themes, and they did a hell of a good job with that in this generation! The only battle theme I was let down by was Avery’s but only because the lack of consistent percussion made it feel kinda empty.

Foxman Plays to be fair, I could be wrong, but I could see sword shield DLC being released down the line, more Pokemon added to the wild area (100ish added to dex) gym leader rematches, and new challengers at the battle tower, probably won’t happen but we can hope. Then again, can you imagine the shit storm Gamefreak would receive if they tried to charge on DLC after the no national dex controversy
