This is a Gem for people who are just starting out. I use every method he mentioned especially during a beat block phase I use a goto drum pattern and then wing it. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@theycallmeheat hello. the following statements are not easy for me to write, because i fear they will be misunderstood. if a "producer" needs to be TAUGHT how to make boom-bap beats, they just don't have what it takes. it's engrained, it can't be learned. second, making beats while staring at a large computer screen means you're making beats with your eyes. the computer tells you where & how to place everything... no, no, no. ears, fingers, heart, brain, & soul should come before putting a puzzle together on a screen larger than the ones provided on 90's samplers. third, how many phony ass rookies are going to whip up decent beats because you divulged a generic recipe? if they can't do it on their own, through a normal learning process, like experimentation & trial by error, are they tru skool hedz down for the culture? or culture vultures seeking shortcuts? no personal offense intended, i'm just sick of all these tutorials telling kids with fancy gear that they can be the next preemo.

@@theycallmeheat after what i wrote, that's the best you can come up with? bottom line, you're helping poseurs & phonies. sure, you could reply with something like, "it takes one to know one", however, everything i wrote makes sense. guru of gangstarr, intro on "hard to earn": if you ain't got it, then you ain't got it."

We gotta really stop using 16bit or below things and also keep progressing into the future of audio. That includes our repetitive patterns that were merely exploited limitations of the good ol days. I start FL Studio empty as well. Lol, I don’t know what all the hate is for. Just create your shxt & I’ll create mine. But hating like this will forever hinder your progression. I hope nothing but the best for you my friend!! 💯💯

I have a crunk beat which I want to send you and I need your email. The beat is free so you can use it if you want and maybe put more energy into it if you want to REMAKE IT! Yes, remake. Reply if you want and keep it up👍🔥
