    SUBSCRIBED 🤜💯🤛 nice content and really well done👍👍Nice review, this is an awsome light that I use everyday at work and replaced my baton pro with the warrior mini. The clip is less sturdy tho. I tried to switch my baton pro clip but having the camo one (have all 3)in pocket i didn't like the blue accent so switched back to original. Had to jump on the flash sale, always worth it to get the 200 dollars one imo. Olights got me hooked😂😂hava good one and look forward to more content for sure👍 keep on keepn on brotha 🍻 👌 💪 😎 👍

    Ordered tonight. Glad I did. 63 bucks seems good to me with battery and free shipping. Great review!
    Just came in today. Really nice and well thought out. The fit and finish looks perfect and output levels are great for my applications.

    Thanks for uploading. I just got one in desert tan. It is worth all the hype. It’s actually brighter and has a better beam profile than my 1500 lumen M2R Warrior. I’m getting a USA made custom holster from Kobra Kydex.

    My first Olight was a PL2 Valkyrie... I bought it for my MPX and wow man I loved it! I bout 3 more to fit on my SP5, SP5k and an AR. Then I saw the Baldr which essentially added a laser to the Valkyrie and it was about that time which I realized who Olight really was and then I started investing real money into their products. I got a couple of the warrior minis in the bundle during the flash sale... zero regrets. This is my way of showing ✊🏼 respect for diversity.

      A tail switch would be nice, but I personally think the light is too short for a tail switch to work properly, with my big hands.

      What 👆🏻 said , but also it seems you lose some of the function of the flat magnetic bottom when you have a tail switch. It still magnetizes to surfaces but not as well as the flat magnet on the baton lights. One of my fav features of my s1r baton 2 is sticking it to all sorts of magnetic surfaces for hands free use.

    I really wish Olight would put INSTRUCTIONS on how to OPERATE the buttons. Just pushing buttons to try and figure out how to get it into modes is NOT GOOD. Just after charging the battery for the first time, I had put my light into LOCK MODE without realizing it and I looked on the "Manual" for any instructions, but there are none. I thought that there was something wrong with the flashlight and was ready to BOX IT UP AND RETURN IT. Then I decided to watch another video on this model and this was that video. So thanks for going through the modes. Helped me discover the lock.

      I have to apologize. Since I posted my first comment, I looked at my manual again and found the instructions I needed. They were however listed at the END of the English instructions just after contents. Not a good place for instructions in my opinion.

      I've only had my Warrior Mini for 3 days & liking it more than I originally thought I would. They NAILED the beam pattern for my EDC usage! Pocket clip, meh... My 1st OLight was the original S2 Baton nearly 5 years ago, still using it for work. LOVED that pocket clip! It puts that light flush in my pocket = PERFECTLY. Wish they offered a clip like that for the newer lights...

    • @WarGrrl3
      @WarGrrl3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its not abt hand placement, its abt not having the lens exposed to dirt ,scratches, dings etc while sitting in your pocket. My friend had a new one in the 'flashlight pocket' of his pants and when he got into the car it hit against the seat belt buckle hard and BROKE the lens. I've had my EDC fl get caught on stuff as well. Now I always have the clip placed so the lens faces down. Pls don't assume its just to complain. Esp when I'm in the woods, I don't want my any of my flashlights 'lens up'. Peace.

    I just got an S2R II. Nice light. 2 things bother me. The max output will be reached only when the battery is fully charged. So essentially, you will have access to it for a very limited time. Also, no one mentions the tint. I own two 8 year old Klarus XT1A/XT2A, in comparison, the tint on the Klarus is white, and the Olight is green. It's not a deal breaker, but I wish I'd known. I would not have been disappointed. Although I know it's an excellent light, I do hate marketing. I wish they were honest. In the case of a Warrior, who needs 2000 lumen if you can't hold the light? If you risk melting the lens? If after 2 minutes, you never see that level of performance until you recharge the light? What's the point? Why not make the light 1000 lumen, and it lasts 4 hours without risk of burn or lens melting?? I don't know, maybe I'm just crabby today...LMAO Cheers

    Hey, I have a patriot edition m2r pro as well. I wanted a copper flashlight, so I picked up a copper warrior mini, as well as a titanium. All about those flash sales and limited editions.
    The m2r pro has a slightly lower color temp, as it uses a different LED. The copper warrior mini is slightly heavier, and the titanium is slightly lighter than the normal versions.
    I liked the tailswitch as well. The magnets on the batons work way better without the tailswitch. Other than that, cool flashlights.

    After owning, caring, & using the Warrior mini, No, it’s not worth it.
    I’ll stick to the S1R II as my EDC work light. My evening light is the M1T Raider Plus and weekend light is the Baton Pro. With these light I do Not see the need for the Warrior Mini and I gave mine away. I don’t like that it Needs to be locked out when carrying lens up or it turns on in your pocket. The heat buildup is what alerts you that it’s on.
    I’ll be waiting on the revised version, like Apple _S series, or Warrior Mini-Pro.

    glad he mentioned the heat cause damn it really does get hot, also the color temp of the led is warmer then the SR2R Baton II. I prefer a whiter color but thats just preference. This magnet will also not stick as well at the SR2R Baton II does just because of the tail switch design. also gotta wonder if that 8hr charge time was after he ran it to empty. certain batteries dont like that and that may have been the case here, but cant say for sure. more research is needed 🤔 but its been weeks and i still cant decide which i prefer.

    It is a problem of the red green indicator,
    pick up the pill after 4 hours or less and you will see that it turns green.
    I also met without this problem, a 5000 battery to charge in 3 hours and show me directly green.
    Unfortunately many do not look green and the pill must be picked up and put back and you will see that it no longer loads, it remains green.

      The dual clip on this isn’t really useful. If you’re going to clip it on a hat, you’ll clip it the same way as your pants. Olight needs to stop worrying about aesthetics so much and just allow the clip to be switched to carry it either way.

    Why doesn't Olight just put beefy clips on everything...?
    Slight noise when tailswitch is depressed. Can't tell if it's a diaphragm, spring or the contact buzzing.

    • @PreparedGuy
      @PreparedGuy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats a huge difference. I'd go with the Fenix. Better runtime. Battery life. Basically just a way better light all around. Of course the olight warrior mini is also a good option. Not sure about the heat on the Fenix but I know the warrior mini gets really hot. The i5t is barely on the map as far as heat goes when compared to the Fenix or the warrior mini. It gets hot but not as hot as those other 2 big boys.

Of course there is a lockout mode but let's face it do I really want to unlock flashlight every time I need to use it really quick and then put it away nah 😂 I'll just be mindful of burning smells and make sure my pants budget is in check 🤣😂 besides flashlight fire stories are great conversation starters 😂👍🏼

    Weird question but... If there wasn't a tail switch on the Warrior Mini, would you still take it over the S2R2? I mean, is the output really a big difference?

    • @PreparedGuy
      @PreparedGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If there wasn't a tail switch it would litterally be the s2r2 🤷🏻‍♂️ the mini is 1,500 lumens and s2r2 is 1150 and side by the difference is apples to apples to the naked eye.
      I've been carrying the mini for 3 days and at first I honestly didn't know if I would like it, but now it's growing on me at day 3.
      I can't really say as of right now if I would take one over the other yet. So far I'm leaning towards the warrior mini but it hasn't been fully tested in my real world use enough to say for 100% certain that it will replace my s2r2. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I hope that answer helps. In a couple weeks I'll more than likely do an update video to let everyone know my final thoughts. 😎👍🏼🔦

    • @PreparedGuy

      I understand what you mean about the candela. If anything to the naked eye it's barely noticeable both in brightness and throw 🤷🏻‍♂️ When you get it in your hands you'll get what I mean. Its kind of a pain in the butt to explain, its one of those, you kinda have to be there situations 😎🔦👍🏼 still a really cool light over all and I think you'll like it.

    • @bonghungk7544
      @bonghungk7544 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought the S2R2 and the Warrior Mini back to back within 10 days apart and I have no regrets. The Warrior Mini is definitely brighter and has a hot spot with less flood compared over the S2R2 and the S2R2 is more floody and cooler blue while the WP is greenish tint warmer. I think if both were hammered to death or left in deep water a long time the S2R2 would probably be more durable all in all because there’s no tail cap. Plus I like that the S2R2 is a bit smaller and the lanyard is placed on the base compared to the WM placed the lanyard onto the upper clip but I got use to it. I’m a lanyard type of guy so this matters to me the lanyard. If I could only choose the one only I’d get the R2R2 simply because I can use any 18650 even though I can’t tail charge while the WM I need to use the proprietary 18650 battery. S2R2 is 0.5 Lumen moonlight mode mean 60 days usage vs 45 days moonlight mode with the WM. So in a survival situation if I only had one battery and I have no other power sources to recharge my batteries hands down for me the S2R2 wins. I don’t really need turbo 1500 on the WM and for that matter even 1150 for the S2R2 so neither turbo really applies to me just the non turbo lighting setting is sufficient for me. I’m glad I got both of them! They’re so small and handy and fun to use!!!!

Other than that I would have gotten the sr2 because I don’t really need a tail switch, forsure not mad about it though.

    I am confused now in your video you said it ran for 6 hours usable light and then you changed it to to 45 minutes on the 1500 luminous and then 3 hours for 500 so what setting was it for the 6 hours run time?

    • @PreparedGuy
      @PreparedGuy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm just as confused by this question 🤣😂 lemme see if I can explain. All flashlights tested on this channel are run at the highest lumen output and then allowed to step down naturally. I measure usable light by how much light the flashlight gives off and is still able to illuminate an object from 1 foot away. It would take forever to create this detailed of a review any other way in such a short time. Unless olight wants to send me a flashlight before they release it, then I would have plenty of time to add specific detailed runtime tests on each mode. So the light is fully charged, then fully depleted. So to answer your question, the total runtime from 1500 lumens was 6 hours of usable light including the step down lower lumen modes. 14 hours total with the emitter still producing light in general but only 6 of those hours were considered usable light 😎👍🏼🔦 I hope that helps answer your questionna little better. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      I will have a video up during the week for that comparison. I wanted to show a dramatic difference for this video. The difference between the s2r2 and mini is barely noticeable to the naked eye. The extra lumens on the mini translates to a less focused beam and slightly more spill. The biggest noteable addition is the tailswitch in my humble opinion. I like it though. Keep an eye out for the comparison video between the warrior mini, s2r2 and the baton pro. 🔦😎😁👍🏼
