Just bought the Bosch interesting thing is that red light always on or is there a way to find out how much time is left. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I have #2 - it took us several weeks to figure out a detergent that would not leave a funky smell after each wash. The usual Finish that was working fine with the GE we had before, just left a food smell in this new machine. The GE we had was the second one that simply stopped working after 5 years (2 GEs in a time frame of 10 years). Will the new KitchenAid last longer...? I doubt it, but it is extremely quiet. And you almost never have to take care of the filter. I used to have the same exact Bosch while living in EU with the same drying system. Very energy efficient. Problem: the door once simply fell down, because its balancing system is mounted on the base of the appliance, which is a plastic monolith. Once that is broken, you cannot repair it. German design...I guess? (oh, and the controls lost the ink and when I asked to fix it, they asked me 1/3 the cost of the appliance to replace the whole button assembly).
@@emarte Cascade Free & Clear. Everything else we tried has either a too strong perfume scent (some are almost overwhelming) or they don't remove the funky/food smell on the dishes/glassware all the time. To be on the safe side, if we cook eggs, we do the wash with an additional cup of vinegar.
If you smell those toxic chemicals (bleach as well), you’re ingesting them. It’s over-marketed junk and extremely toxic for you. Try the Seventh Generation powder. Seriously. One level teaspoon in the detergent dispenser and that’s it! I’ve never had cleaner dishes.
We bought the same Bosch dishwasher as on your list (blake suggested same dishwasher previously too), but this dishwasher is not drying properly, water still remains in top rack, does anyone facing same problem?
@BoulevardHome water still remains on top shelf and on the walls, and whenever i open the dishwasher and check filter, there's always water in it, will there be mistake in plumbing system ?
@@charleskhedia242. I bought My Bosch series 8 dishwasher today. I tried it out. Dishes were bone dry and hot and immaculately clean. Water residue is normal in those parts as what you say. The AEG I owned for 2 weeks was useless and I told Harvey Norman’s to take it back.
I had a G.E. Profile dishwasher that came with the house when we bought our new home four years ago. It has broken down three times, not including this last time when it did not start. I'm tired of having to repair that piece of junk. All the pre-installed General Electric appliances we have have had mechanical issues. IMO, don't buy any G.E. kitchen appliances or you'll be sorry.
Handwashing is certainly an option, but there are things a dishwasher can do that your hands can't do. And these days dishwashers are super efficient so on average you'll actually save more water using a dishwasher over handwashing.
This is a sales advertisement. I buy the $300.00 dishwasher at home depot.. last for 10yrs... this guy talks $1000,00 for a dishwasher and wifi... lol😮
We don’t care who or where you buy from. We’d prefer not the big box stores so you can support the local family owned appliance stores assuming you can get the same product for the same price. We just want to provide the public with information! There are plenty of higher end dishwashers at the big box stores too. Thanks for watching!
@@BoulevardHome Thanks, I think it was a good video otherwise :) That soap just stands out as a really big red flag. I have seen several salespeople buy it themselves just so that they can tell customers it's what they use, to gain some ethos for their bold claims. I have had to take many calls where the customer is upset with their machine's performance when the only real issue is their usage/expectations about the overpriced soap they were manipulated into buying. It's kind of a sore spot for me I suppose.
Who cares about wifi, we want reliability and clean dishes that's it
Holy crap amen! Enough of this WiFi crap to charge us more for no usefulness.
Have #2, really, really like it. Also, it’s a CON for me to have connectivity on an appliance.
So glad to hear you're having a good experience with it! We've found a lot of people share your opinion on the connectivity as well.

what detergent you ended up using with your kitchenaid?

at those prices they better wash a load in an hour like the older dishwashers did

All are better then this midea junk i got.
Best dishwasher will always be: use your hands :3
not if you have trouble standing or arthritic hands.
@@philip9569 I do have problems standing, in that case don't let the dishes build up. Or you can just use a tall chair

@@BoulevardHome And healthier. Eg have a shower as in continuous water or sitting bath and using the same towel if ya get my drift.
Define "best" because as someone who work on the road 70 hrs a week last thing I want to do on my off time is spending an hour or two washing dishes

If it’s not Blake in the video, I’m not too interested to watch it. 😕😕
Blake's pretty cool, but so is Cam!
I can't take y'all seriously with the excelsior soap on display. :|
What's the problem?
