@Nitorich Absolutely. There's still graphical features that I love about GT5 that's missing in GT7. Seeing the fireworks at night from a distance at le'mans night race was something special, and Nurburgring 24hr had more BBQ stands letting of smoke etc, it just had more atmosphere. Also the TV style replays displays the cars and tracks much better in GT5 than 7. Compare Suzuka, Nordschleife, and a few other for example. Captures the behaviour of the car and undulation of the tracks better. I feel like GT7s TV style replays are a bit more generic, otherwise a better game. Just my nitpick for the day lol
i have those loading times on my hdd? the game that used to load slow was gran turismo 6 but since i changed my hard drive it loads instantly but im still using an hdd
I use Generic YUY2 capture card rpcs3 is amazing in term of how accurate it is comparing to real hardware but yea, i don't think we're be getting Gran Turismo 5 or 6 playable anytime soon. besides, there aren't much you can graphically improve in GT games, the game already runs at 1080p at 60fps on real hardware.
Considering a normal SATA SSD is overkill for a PS3 ahahaha. I'm keen to chuck in my old SATA SSD I don't use anymore in my PS3 hopefully it'll fix some of the issues I'm having with GT6 hanging /crashing on certain loading screens
you should even it's overkill, it still able to loads fast, no moving parts, extremely silent (except PS3 fan) I put my old m.2 SATA SSD because it was my old windows drive and i don't use it anymore.
yea didn't think of that. but i did that on my recent streams, and it was fairly quick. i think it's still less than a minute loading bar only goes 20% and then puf

yea it ain't going to diff much since PS3 only supports SATA I. but it always nice thing that it has zero seek time and no moving parts.

nice video, what capture card are you using, and what do you think of RPCS3? The loading times are insane on RPCS3, compared to my ps3.
