- Becoming a part of a community of creators is the single best thing you can do as a creator. No doubt about it.
We’ve had this idea on our to-do list for far too long. It always seemed like some other video was more important or urgent to film. It was sitting there and to be honest, we started doubting whether it was a good video. However, over the past couple of months, we’ve been reflecting on our journey and one thing kept coming up - the people who have supported us along the way. No matter the views or reach this video has - it was a message that we thought was important.

Hanging out with other creators can be pretty hard depending on your location. Unfortunately I don't have anyone around me who I can hang out with in a TH-camy kind of way. Loved your videos guys!
Absolutely! You're so right and we struggled with this for a while too, until we found some creators like 4 hours away in Warsaw! :D If we can give a piece of advice - every step you take to hanging out with other creators in a more 'real' way is great. One of our first things was to have a video chat with another creator from the USA, and even that - was super productive for us. It was awesome to speak to someone else who shared the same concerns, problems and understood the creator world. :) Thank you for watching our vid and wishing you lots and lots of creative friendships to come!

not sure i do jealous - i often look at others films, and wonder what it would be like if i could create such wonder. my dream is to make my wildlife documentary, but i need to hone my lack of skillz!, and editing, and navigating physical limitations - yawn!
BUT I have the belief i will get there and create - you gave me that belief, that i could one day make my film.
watching you, and talking with you, makes me believe its possible - the dream is achievable, some how, even if i have to modify it a little in order to get it created.

I think competition is great as long as other creators dont do snaky things to try and secure the next best product/thing to review etc. I see this all the time in the RC community. Such a shame but youtube is incredibly difficult at times and this increases the pressure to succeed and get ahead of fellow creators. I wish people realised we can help each other to succeed that is key but lots of people dont see this. Especially in my niche. Shame. Keep up the great work guys!
Of course, there will always be a few people that feel threatened or will try to move forward regardless of anyone else or the impact of their actions, but I think overwhelmingly people are looking to be collaborative and to bond over the fact that we are all creators together, facing the same difficulties. We're just clinging onto the idea that the more positivity we can each put out, the better the place will be for creators altogether.

Heck yeah! Though I find it funny that nearly all my creator friends are worldwide and nowhere near me...makes the in person a bit challenging.
We completely get that! It's great to have creator friends, even just remotely - but there's also nothing like being able to spend some time in person with other people. Because there are two of us, we kind of avoided that for a LOOONG time and it wasn't until last year really that we started taking it a bit more seriously and it has been SO helpful for us

Thank you so much Pav! You're among one of those very first creators that really inspired us to get out more and speak to other creatives! That Wales & West Show was our first-EVER in person event and really helped to change our outlook on the whole industry.
