Omg you’re gonna have a blast! I know it’s kinda confusing they are named so similarly lol. The HIDEOUT cabanas are the private ones away from the pool that have their own infinity pool. The HIDEAWAY cabanas are the cheaper options and are right next the main pool in the mix of all the action!
Don't want to see the Icon content end :-( Was great seeing you guys at the Beach - we didn't do the cabana - but the pool in the main section was heated to perfection as well! I'm not an ocean water person - the idea of creatures swimming up to me freaks me out! If I had a large party that we could share the cost of the Cabana for a special occasion it may be worth it. Thanks for everything you guys are doing! We can't wait for the Star Inaugural now! Wendy

Technically yeah. The fridge is locked until they verify you have it, but when we went they only asked us before unlocking it, they didn’t check anyone else so I’m not 100%
Nice video, I just wish Royal would at least make the cabana purchase all inclusive, meaning if someone doesn’t have the drink package they should still be able to drink free.. it’s a lot of money.. I think they could mange that lol
@@RandomRecess we can go to private beach clubs in Cozumel that give everyone unlimited drinks and food for less than 75 dollars, but Royal can’t give free alcohol to people who pay top dollar for their private cabanas in their beach club.. I think in general the beach club should have free drinks but I know that would never happen.

We booked a similar thing in NCL private island and figuring out where to go was a PROCESSSSSS lol so any info would be much appreciated 🩷🩷
@@VittsonVacay there is a check in desk for cabanas. We believe it’s just past the towel pick up station. We missed it when we visited so we recommend asking to confirm the location when you get there. The signs are super small.
Hello thanks for the video. We got a great price for our cruise in December. My question is, since only one person has to book it, how are the rest of the group proven to be part of the group? Just make sure the person who booked it has everyone with them upon check in? Thanks

On my November Oasis of the Seas cruise, we got the Hideout cabana for $1899. We originally booked it for $2299, but I kept watching for price drops and canceled / rebooked when it went on sale. Good video, thanks.
It would be nice to split the cost for the cabana and get to experience it, but even at half the cost our family could go on a whole other cruise for that price. I’m fairly certain I’d skip the cabana in our case. I’m sure your friends were so grateful you shared with them…and really it’s always more fun with friends 😊
Yeah it was super expensive, probably for the inaugural crowd. Maybe on other cruises it’s cheaper, so I’d check it out if you’re going to Coco Cay just to see. But yes it was fun!
About the pool or beach person. Id say pool, Im not to much of a fan getting sand in everywhere 🤣 It itches and when removing the bath clothes wherever that is, u get a pile of fine sand to try and find 🤣
Great question. For us at least, I think it’s because when we’re on the ship we don’t really get a good sense of how large it is. Once at port and walking between it puts everything into perspective.

We went to guest services and provided the names of everyone in our party and it was all set. You are going to have so much fun!

Yes the food comes with a cabana or no cabana. Either way you get food on the island.

Yeah we splurged. The price is less if you split it. It’s also probably cheaper on non Icon and inaugural sailings. We had so much fun.
