Well, well, well....I thought this was going to be another fake pineapple video where the person just goes into their morning routine after they've just put their hair up...and their hair still be looking good and whatnot! This girl actually went to sleep, her hair was dry when she woke up. Then she went through all of the steps that she takes to wake back up those curls!!! THANK YOU, BLESS YOU, THANK YOU! I've subbed.
omg I have the same hair type as you, what I do is put my hair into a pineapple and then when I hop in the shower before school, I let my hair down and usually the humidity puts it back into place and my curls be poppinnnn 😝
I just tried this method...you saved me from having to resoak my curls every morning with water and conditioner! When I first woke up this morning after pulling off the satin cap...my curls looked pretty messed up. But with rewetting each section and applying conditioner/eco styler...my curls came back to life and day 2 hair looked wayyy better than day 1 hair! I got so many compliments today...thank you so much for your tips; so glad to have found your channel.
UGH 😍 I just tried this for the first time last night and it worked! I did the big chop about 3 years ago and I kind of forgot how to wear my hair down without too much shrinkage. We have the same hair type and similar length/fullness so I kinda had an idea what it was going to look like. Thank you so much girl!!
I had sworn off then elastic bands years ago cuz I was afraid they were going to get caught up in my curls and make my tangles worse but the way you did it makes me want to go back and revisit using them since you just put each one on a section of hair without twisting so maybe that's the key for me...
I did the shingling method quite a few times when my hair was shorter, and I LOVED IT. You are absolutely right when you say that's the best method to give your curls the best definition. Now that my hair is longer, I've gotten lazy and I just don't have the time to shingle anymore... It would take me like 2+ hours 😩 Your hair came out amazing though! Great video 😊
I am going to have to try this method. Your hair looks so pretty and healthy. I am still learning my hair and trying t figure out what I can do to make it healthy and look healthy. It's growing, but I think I may need to switch things up to have my curls last and my hair to look healthy.
This is amazing!!! My hair is 3a,b,c. I've been having such a hard time figuring out how to care for it. Thank you for the video, I've learned quite a bit! ☺
Can anyone give me some advice. When my hair is wet my curls are very defined and nice, but after it dries and a day or two goes by it becomes very frizzy and it looks like if you blowed dried it and didn't straighten it. Also it's very tangled
Thank you so much for posting this!! Your texture is VERY similar to mine and my wash-n-gos last maybe 3-4 days. I will definitely give this method a try and use the products you featured. I always love watching your videos ;-)
thank you so much. I have been looking for a night time routine and came across your channel. I'm definitely following you! please could you do a tutorial for night time routine for twist outs. Thank you so much. You and your hair are gorgeous!
Curl envy! Your hair is shiny and healthy. But really you are a lifesaver. I've been looking for a good nightime routine and will try yours out. Peace!
Thank you so much for sharing your hair tips. I tried it out and it worked great for me. I have great curl definition and it looks great. Finally.... I really appreciate you!
I do the same thing at night but I also started putting an smaller elastic bands on the ends of my puffs because my puffs would frizz and get flat at night while I sleep especially in the back.
this is the first I've heard of "miss Jessie's"? I'll see if the store near me has it. how does it to compare to the olive oil (green) eco styler gel? ... wonderful video btw.
I Loooove Your tutorials!!!! Sooooo informative!!! I am transitioning right now and I can't wait to go fully natural. I plan to do hair tutorials on my channel too so I love getting hair inspiration and learning!!
You should try to avoid covering the perimeter of your hair in general. Not only does it cause tension, but the elastic band on the edges is usually constricting. Your not getting enough oxygen there which may also cause thinning. Try sliding your cap back after you've put it on.
Your curl pattern is almost identical to my daughters, will try this technique on her. The current one doesn't give her roots as much definition as yours here.
Flower Power I can see what you mean. its not her sound, its tbe way she moves her mouth. she has a likeness around her nose and mouth isn't it! I see it !
Hey everyone, I am asking for some help/advice with my black afro hair. Sorry if my English isn't the best but here is my situation: I have black afro hair with a lot of dead ends/hairs. Maybe just above shoulder length if I would pull/stretch it with my finger. My mom suggested that we had to cut it. I didn't have a problem with it but then I asked how much we had to cut it. She parted her fingers so there was maybe just around 10 cm left. She said that's how much I would have left after we would've cut it. Since I was young I always wanted to grow my hair. But this wouldn't be possible with the dead ends. Is there any other way I can maintain my hair healthy without completely cutting?
I just did my big chop and when I tried to do a wash n go it was beautiful wet but when it dried, girl, it was super dry and didn't last more than a day. I don't know what to do to make it last longer
Bomb video Ashley! I had to hunt it down because I need to preserve this wng and I remembered this video. I'll let you know on Snapchat how it works for me.😉💌

Thank you Dear :)
I'd never heard of shingling method until I found your channel! Thanks, Chick! it's the only way I wear my hair now!
Awesome! Im so happy to now that you found something that works for your hair. :)

I'm right there too. my shingling had gotten lazy because my hair is long and it's tiring.

No routine is too much for me to get a good outcome. It's worth it for some of us.

This is amazing!!! My hair is 3a,b,c. I've been having such a hard time figuring out how to care for it. Thank you for the video, I've learned quite a bit! ☺

-Naomi Rose - you need moisture. Try she's moisture curl enhancer and the curl gel soufflé
You need moisture. Try hair lotions and cremes

can you do a puff tutorial?
Your curl pattern is almost identical to my daughters, will try this technique on her. The current one doesn't give her roots as much definition as yours here.
I love the way she sounds
I'm looking at your curls on the end and my curls look similar to yours but my roots and edges are not though. It's weird but inspiring.😁

What is the best store to go to for Eco Cocktail? I have only seen Eco Styler Krystal and Eco Styler Argan Oil.
Hi! Why do u use eco cocktail instead of eco styler? I noticed that I flake sometimes with eco styler gel that's why I'm asking
Great video! I usually pineapple at night but will be giving this a go. 😊
I just did my big chop and when I tried to do a wash n go it was beautiful wet but when it dried, girl, it was super dry and didn't last more than a day. I don't know what to do to make it last longer
If you want to go straight to the point go to 1:34
