Outside of the games I play in, I have never felt so welcome and like I am playing along with my friends as when I watch Critical Role. The entire cast and crew are just so welcoming with all that you feel you are a part of their tight knit family. I believe that is why they are so popular and they have taken d&d to new heights. They make you feel as if you belong, because you do.
It is ridiculously long though. I started with the second campaign mid June and am only just getting towards the end of it now and the first one is almost as long. XD
I wish Ashley takes a couple levels in Barbarian. i mean, she's been hanging out out with Grog long enough... Also, when this happened, I started singing to myself: "JAAAAAYYYYYNE! The Grog they call... JAAAAAAYYYYYNE! He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor..."
Most DMs have character and shop descriptions ready to go off the fly just in case they're needed. This is much more important for someone like Matt, who is doing it in front of a large audience. The character (name/description/ect.) and the shop name was already probably stuff he planned for, just in case. Finer details are likely off the fly.
This is funnier in retrospect knowing what Sam’s plan for it was. He must have cooked up this scheme as soon as he got the promise from his friend and then paid it off magnificently

i love grog and scanlan. Makes me sad that i don't really see any of it in the new campaign so far :( i'm only on episode 4, so i hope it shows up! Sam is so much better at playing a person like scanlan instead of not :p
