So sorry for your loss, Cynthia. I lost my sweet mother to Alzheimer's in 2014. It's such a heartbreaking thing to experience. At some point, they really aren't living but existing. It's so hard to lose them, as there is no one like your mom, but we're so thankful that they're with the Lord and finally free from this world of pain and suffering.

My Mom was huge in Cleveland in the 70's, the Cleveland Chapter Queen for the CMA in Cleveland, she met Bill Anderson. Dotti was her name and now she is singing with all the angels and saints in the universe. She quit performing when the venue was robbed and a man was shot and killed on the dance floor right in front of her while she was onstage. God bless, stop the gun violence everyone, please.
