Just so happens I was making a 32" x 8" router bit storage board. As my Origin was drilling the holes, it was rendering the tape unusable (Origin won't see markers with holes drilled through them). I then had to "add to scan", add more tape, and continue on. And this was BEFORE I watched this video, so that's a testament to how user-friendly the UI is within Origin. Just know that if you destroy your tape through the course of your project, "add to scan" is there to save the day. Thanks for an awesome product and this great training you provide. It's like going to school in my workshop :)

The floor exercise- how close can origin get to the skirting (baseboard), what is the limitations? How close could I say cut in a inlay on a timber floor to the wall edge ?

      Hi Ken,
This depends on the orientation of the tool--it's required to have at least a few rows of tape behind the tool so if it's facing the wall you can't get closer than about 12 - 14" to give yourself some space for the vision system. If the tool is perpendicular to the wall you can get a bit closer, about 9" depending on the form factor of operating the tool.
