Hold your horse's bro, you haven't checked yet those other business districts in Metro Manila like The Filinvest City in Alabang for example, that one has other vibes as well. Speaking of BGC, it is expanding actually, they bought that huge land near the Uptown area, and sooner they'll develop it and become part of the district, also on the other side, sooner Mc Kinley Hill and West including the newest under construction ARCA South district will become one that is interconnected, so BGC-McKinley-ARCA South sooner, that's for sure will challenge those upcoming ultra-modern cities situated in the middle of Manila Bay that is under reclamation now: Horizon Manila, Solar City Manila, City of Pearl Manila, Harbour Center Manila, Navotas Coastal Bay, etc. Cheers!
When I was looking at taking a position in Manila, BGC was where I was thinking about living. It really is quite different from the rest of the greater metro Manila area.
Go to the nice side of Makati. It’s bigger than BGC and has more character. Poblacion is the rough side that all the foreigners go to. But around Greenbelt, Ayala Triangle, and Salcedo Village, it’s a completely different side of Makati
Good to know. I thought Makati seemed cool until I saw a video of a night on Burgos street and I said I don't want to live in Makati anymore. Good to know it's not all like that
Wait for 10 yrs or a few years, Metro Manila will be different, BGC is still expanding especially there is still underconstruction ARCA South. There are still other CBDs areas in Metro Manila aside from BGC, like Makati, Alabang, Ortigas, Entertainment City, ASEAN City, Filinvest, Pasay, Pasig City. Right now, Manila will have that is still underconstruction reclamation projects such as New Horizon Manila, Solar City, etc. Check it out!
