There is so many hidden gems just outside manila. With new highways being built, i did not expect small town in Tarlac to have waterfalls. La union and Zambales is also underrated place to visit. It is best to travel by motorcycle to experience the scenic drive there.

I visited Bohol, Cebu, Angeles City, Makati, BGC in my 2 weeks vacation in 2019. I loved the Philippinas they are amazing people. However their cities have pollution&heavy traffic&extreme poverty, the infrastructure isnt as good as Thailand. But i would go back for sure i connected to the Pinays very well coz they all spoke English
They have done a lot to clean their cities nowadays especially the creeks. I’ll give them credit for that. As for the infrastructure, there are loads of construction going on left, right and centre (subways, railtracks, airports, bridges) all over the country as we speak and will continue to do so in the number of years and it won’t be long until it catches up with Thailand. Just give it time. At the end of the day, it still is a world leader in business process outsourcing and will open up more foreign ownership which for a number years had been a deterrent to their growth.

Bad guys snatchers, holdappers are just around looking for the right time.... Be simply on your attire. Do not wear something to temp them get snatch from you. Like expensive jewelries and watches, Wallets . Be attentive in bags and things. You never know...
