- Today I take a look at Bloodborne, and Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and compare the two games and see what really is the better game?

Carve your own clever path to vengeance in the critically acclaimed adventure from developer FromSoftware, creators of the Dark Souls series.
In Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice you are the 'one-armed wolf', a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Bound to protect a young lord who is the descendant of an ancient bloodline, you become the target of many vicious enemies, including the dangerous Ashina clan. When the young lord is captured, nothing will stop you on a perilous quest to regain your honor, not even death itself.
Explore late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a brutal period of constant life and death conflict, as you come face to face with larger than life foes in a dark and twisted world. Unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while you blend stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head to head combat in a bloody confrontation.
Both my favorite From Soft games, but I give the nod to Sekiro, it kept me more engaged, probably have 500 hrs on it. It's the only game I ever wanted to play right back thru it after finishing it! Countless times, the boss battle's just a "chef's kiss"!
Damn 500 hours is insane. I have around 70 hours in Sekiro and 200 hours in Bloodborne
@@v6station I couldn't take it out my PlayStation, nothing compares, tried Ghost but it just wasn't doing it for me
@@edwardnarro3323I agree. I already got 94 hours on Sekiro and i am still playing it.
*"Sekiro would of been more popular with the addition of PVP"*
No it wouldn't, the game isn't designed around PVP and I'm happy about that. PVP doesn't always make a game better
I came here to say I beat Bloodborne last week and am now well into Sekiro and both are unbelievable games. 10/10 but Bloodborne’s visual identity is just God tier.
I mean if you love the colors gray and black then yeah visually Bloodborne is awesome I guess lol
@@xChiroxbloodborne atmosphere is 10x better, Sekiro has a beautiful world but the ost and art design of the world for booodborne is unmatched
W Bloodborne and W Sekiro. Love both games, great video
Sekiro is just better overall. No wonder why it won GOTY without even being as popular as souls series.
Let's be honest the only games sekiro competed against was control, blood borne competed against metal gear solid 5, the witcher 3, the witcher 3 got 7 nominees, mgs5 got 5 nominees and both of those games were the top of their class once in a lifetime type game, don't get me wrong control and sekiro are very good games but they're not to the levels of the games that were nominated in 2015 that year was honestly imo the best year for gaming
Blood borne had to go toe to toe with Wither 3. Sekiro would have been dog rolled in Witcher 3 came out in 2019.
@@dhenwkdneisbdiwbsks3832exactly pure facts
@@jestyo0o bro stop trying to rewrite history. literally nobody had sekiro winning. it was a huge underdog.
@@richurro20 bro are u kidding me? it was one of the most liked games in 2019 to date, plus a fromsoft game set in japan lets be honest it was going to win awards
I prefer sekiro more. the fights just to dam good
Best fights ever
When it comes to bosses overall Sekiro has to take this , even if you include the Old hunter's dlc . Bloodborne had a lot of meh bosses in it's base game .
Sekiro aside from Headless ape fight has no bad boss fights , but I would say that it has too many repeats of the same boss just a stronger version of them which is a negative .
I'll give the edge to Sekiro mainly because of the emotion it got out of me. I rage quitted after ringing the bell and losing to lady butterfly. But I restarted recently and now I've beaten the guardian ape.
I can’t judge Sekiro cause I haven’t played it but I think people give sekiro a 10 cause it’s just super fun and has amazing combat
But they give bloodborne a 10 cause of the overall game Honestly Both seem like amazing games and people can have different opinions so I respect both opinions
Two goats
Except 1 perfected the combat
While the other perfected everything else, so that automatically should tell you which is king
I'll just say trick weapons and be on my way
Sekiro was my first fromsoft game
I recently got 100% and did all the guantlets
And completed the game with demon bell
Now starting bloodborne
I really don't understand the combat yet
As i can't even progress through the very first part of the game
But i know i will love it when i start to understand the mechanics
Really excited for this game
Sekiro was a 8/10 for me
Lets see if bloodborne can beat that
How is it so far?
Platinumed the dark souls trilogy and elden ring next up is demon souls, bloodborne, and sekiro. Probably going to platnum bloodborne first
Beat every inch of Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Now 2/3 through Sekiro. Sekiro is definitely the hardest, and beautiful but I like Elden Ring and Bloodborne more.
Same
Sekiro takes it cause of bosses bloodbornes main game is just weak with the bosses pretty much no s tiers except gehrman maybe but dlc has like 3 good fghts compared to sekiros whole gamesworth of great bosses
On top of multiplayer, Bloodborne had the chalice dungeons - some people hate them, some people love them, but it's a whole thing Sekiro doesn't get any of.
Not only weapon and level up variety, Bloodborne had armor to equip and gear that could change gameplay a lot. You didn't even mention insight, beasthood, runes and gems. Also, the DLC and the soundtrack.
However, Sekiro combat, exploration and replay are much more engaging, that's why boss rush and memories are a thing - it's much more about you than about your character build. Also, Sekiro has not only lore and world building, but an actual narrative with character development.
Bloodborne has gun parry, though, so it wins.
Edit: wait, Sekiro has the Woo guy, it's a tie again
It's not about what's the better game, but what's better about each game.
The fact that I can actually replay bosses whenever I want in Sekiro is what made me choose Sekiro over Bloodborne but both are great games!
i can't consider bloodborne to be better than sekiro even though i want to. because of the bad performance on the playstation and the frame drops.
Bloodborne can't even hold a candle to Sekiro. Its the only game from fromsoftware to actually break out of the mold of being your run of the mill souls game. The combat feels rewarding, there's stealth, an actual real story you can follow without having to watch vaatyvidya, awesome bosses, great level design, no noob over leveling, and a 2nd half of the game that doesn't suck unlike Bloodborne. Also it doesn't run like 30fps shit lol.
You decided that the Difficulty category could be ruled out because it's subjective, but you don't think the ART category is subjective? lol. Every single one of your categories is subjective.
Weapons aren't subjective. Bloodborne has like 50.
Bloodborne is better
Reason: I like it more
Didn’t even have to watch the video smh
Sekiro wins. In your list, sekiro favored game design.
Sekiro is leagues ahead imo. Far easier to digest story with better characters and emotion, far more consistently good areas, bosses and enemies with a better combat system while also having better graphics and not being 30fps or exclusive. Just much better imo.
Bloodborne is just a boring game, didnt like any of the boss fights. Every time, one has to go to the hunter's dream, easy leveling, and upgrades. Sekiro was a lot more fun and challenging. Sekiro is get gud
🎉bloodborne
Imo Bloodborne is leagues better than Sekiro. The only thing I prefer from Sekiro is the combat, that’s it.
Bosses and combat are better in Sekiro. In fact I would say Bosses in Sekiro are leagues better than Bloodborne. Even if Bloodborne has the better level design and art style Sekiro having the better combat and bosses automatically makes them both close
Soemthing about bloodborne man…
Sekiro main character design is very ugly and that is super important for a game.
Wolf is cool asf imo
