I played both for the first time this year. I enjoyed Bloodborne but did think of was a little overrated. It's hard to believe they came out within a year of each other but Bloodborne looks so much older. I think I let the hype get to me and just expected better.

what's the better game i'd say is subjective, but you can easily tell Bloodborne's development had more "passion" into it than DS3's, don't get me wrong, DS3 is still a great game, the best in the trilogy even for some people, but Bloodborne was in another league when it comes to various things, it's no wonder Miyazaki was so particularly pleased with it

Sekiro takes it cause of bosses bloodbornes main game is just weak with the bosses pretty much no s tiers except gehrman maybe but dlc has like 3 good fghts compared to sekiros whole gamesworth of great bosses

Elden ring is the most perfect from software game . It upgrades all the past games from all aspects imo. Ds3 for its time was the best from software game and is a legend for sure . This studio creates masterpieces

2:57, the dancer was hard. the nameless king was much easier in terms of defeating his bird looks intimidating at first but he is big in size only you can stomp him real hard with strength weapons to kill the bird fast. the king itself is challenging but nowhere near the dancer's stupid spinning spam attack.

I can’t judge Sekiro cause I haven’t played it but I think people give sekiro a 10 cause it’s just super fun and has amazing combat But they give bloodborne a 10 cause of the overall game Honestly Both seem like amazing games and people can have different opinions so I respect both opinions

Dark souls 3 is a 100 times better....in bloodborne after a while you just start fight organ blobs...it takes away the spectacle..

Sekiro was my first fromsoft game I recently got 100% and did all the guantlets And completed the game with demon bell Now starting bloodborne I really don't understand the combat yet As i can't even progress through the very first part of the game But i know i will love it when i start to understand the mechanics Really excited for this game Sekiro was a 8/10 for me Lets see if bloodborne can beat that

Bloodborne can't even hold a candle to Sekiro. Its the only game from fromsoftware to actually break out of the mold of being your run of the mill souls game. The combat feels rewarding, there's stealth, an actual real story you can follow without having to watch vaatyvidya, awesome bosses, great level design, no noob over leveling, and a 2nd half of the game that doesn't suck unlike Bloodborne. Also it doesn't run like 30fps shit lol.

Imo Bloodborne is leagues better than Sekiro. The only thing I prefer from Sekiro is the combat, that’s it.

This is really only useful against beasts. If the boss is not a beast, then bolt paper is probably a good option. I don’t know of many areas to get bolt paper but you can get 4 by killing the hunter with the tonitrus outside the grand cathedral.

There's like 5 good bosses in the base game of bloodborne, i truly don't understand how anyone can think that it's better than ds3. Faster combat? It feels like a slide show

Bloodborne is just a boring game, didnt like any of the boss fights. Every time, one has to go to the hunter's dream, easy leveling, and upgrades. Sekiro was a lot more fun and challenging. Sekiro is get gud

i can't consider bloodborne to be better than sekiro even though i want to. because of the bad performance on the playstation and the frame drops.

Platinumed the dark souls trilogy and elden ring next up is demon souls, bloodborne, and sekiro. Probably going to platnum bloodborne first

The fact that I can actually replay bosses whenever I want in Sekiro is what made me choose Sekiro over Bloodborne but both are great games!

Sekiro main character design is very ugly and that is super important for a game.

Sekiro is leagues ahead imo. Far easier to digest story with better characters and emotion, far more consistently good areas, bosses and enemies with a better combat system while also having better graphics and not being 30fps or exclusive. Just much better imo.

Bloodborne is super unique with the weapons and boss and a atmospheric but Bloodborne was reallly easy for me my first souls game was elden ring and it was super hard taken me my whole summer (3 months) and then some to beat then I got to blooodborne and it was way more easier in my opinion when I got used to every Bloodborne boss has a strat to beat and Bloodborne bosses was way less before dlc I didn’t buy Bloodborne dlc yet so the bosses I only liked about 4-5 bosses and the wet nurse and spider thing also the 3 yarnem guys and then the witches they all were really boring and easy and that GUY WHO JUST RUNS AROUND!!!! jus super bad and made me super mad at Bloodborne bc Bloodborne is so unique and great and when it’s great it’s 11/10 but when it’s bad and not terrible it’s just easy or boring

I'll give the edge to Sekiro mainly because of the emotion it got out of me. I rage quitted after ringing the bell and losing to lady butterfly. But I restarted recently and now I've beaten the guardian ape.

I completed bloodborne a couple of years ago (not the dlc). I played Demon's souls on PS5 - didn't finish it. I got a little more than half way through DS1 remastered last year. A seriously impressive game but, I had to give up, it was effecting my mental health. The second half of the game is just horrible. I'm now playing DS3 on PS5 and I'm loving it. Definitely up there with Bloodborne.

I came here to say I beat Bloodborne last week and am now well into Sekiro and both are unbelievable games. 10/10 but Bloodborne’s visual identity is just God tier.
