    Sir..when we are taking difference of field capacity and wilting point we get a value in percentage ( without unit) then multiplying with B.D and then root zone depth then how we r getting a value in cm it should come ( gm per cm sqre or kg per metre sqre ) but getting final value in cm how? Plzz..consider this qstn sir..

      Very valid question...but this formula researchers have derived after studying various soil condition under various moisture content and bulk density.
      This is because we take multiplication of these parameters.
