  • Walk through the Valley Temple to the Great Sphinx at 8am with no crowds. This walk was filmed on January 20th, 2019. You will get as close as a tourist can get to the Great Sphinx and see it without having to look past other tourists. After walking around the Sphinx, the tour continues up Khafre's Causeway toward Khafre's Pyramid. 🎧For an even more immersive experience, be sure to put on your headphones and listen in 3D audio.

You can find travel tips anywhere, but here are a few of my own:
    1) Take an Uber to get there or get a airbnb right next to the Sphinx entrance.
    2) Do not enter the Pyramid Complex by the Khufu Pyramid. Go early and enter at the Sphinx.
    3) When you walk in, there is a wall that separates the road from the interior grounds. You are free to climb over the wall. You are essentially free to roam and walk wherever you want.
    4) The cost of a camel ride should be about $5. Some places will try to charge you $50 per person...or more. The cost of a horse cart ride is also cheap but DECIDE ON A PRICE FIRST. Do not get on a camel or cart unless you have first determined a price. You should be able to take a horse cart ride from Sphinx to the scenic viewpoint for $5 or less.
    5) Learn a few helpful phrases...but around the Pyramids, learn to say "Moshayes" which means "I don't want it." You will be harassed a lot while you are there...but they are just trying to make a living.
    6) You DO NOT need to give you ticket to anyone when inside the complex. You will be approached by guys saying they need your ticket and that they are a guide that is "part" of your ticket price. They are just trying to get you to pay them for their service. Keep your ticket....and say Moshayes.

Try to grasp the awe it struck when the site was in its prime. Pure white pyramids with gold capstones shining in the sun, the temple complex and the Sphinx covered in an array of color amidst lush green ferns and palm trees throughout. Awe-inspiring and overwhelming, the intended effect on the human psyche..

    • @tlezzy8252
      @tlezzy8252 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@Al winata.."emitting energy to the atmosphere" !?!? "12k years ago"?? Dang your old... 12,000-15,000 years? So tell us what is the purpose of theses structures... enlighten me. How and why would be nice.
Seems I remember building it 27,736 years ago, in a past life of course!! With the aid of Zeus and Apollo or was it RA?? Gets confusing they all look the same. Silly gods. Why did we build it?? Dude... there was nothing to do, so boring. I mean NO u-tube, MSM to amuse us.. too many men not enough females, which lead to many problems. so.... let's go build some shit.
Never could figure out why Ra liked triangles so much … weird. Or maybe it was just a dream?

Hi Dianna, well I'm sorry to hear about your health issues but I am happy to know that these videos offer you a bit of joy. The next video will be a a longer walk around all three pyramids. I'm also working on another Positano walk. That one is almost done too. Please let me know if there is a place or something you'd like to see. I am still just fascinated by the local life here. I've been wanting to make a video on local living in Italy. The men all walk together on the street talking or sit outside a cafe playing cards. Kids are running around in groups in the streets. The ladies are carrying their meats and cheeses home from the local shops. The streets are full of people just out to be social. Thanks for watching! I wish you the best and hope you hear good news at your next doctor's appointment.

Not to mention that this is only a mere echo of the glory of the ancient Egyptians. and in they're heyday would have been a far more magnificent sight.

Very nice video! I liked the pace, and the looks from side to side, and the facts in the captions. I liked the ambiance of the quiet of the morning, and being able to see to people doing their jobs, hear a stray dog panting, and people talking in the distance... Well done!

I thought all that theory of the Sphinx being as old as 10,000 B.C. was unpopular. The way Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock tell it, they are basically the only scientists who believe that. So I'm surprised to see it mentioned here. Extremely interesting!

There's just no way it was built at the time said, in the time said, in a desert, by slaves.
The sheer water requirements would be insane.

@Generic Human 2600 BC it was a desert.
It has been a desert for around 7,000 years.
That's my point. The official timeline and methods are just patently false.

The most frustrating thing is most people who are interested in this topic- all know that "all the info in this vid" is BS. I honestly think we could do something about it, if we made a collective effort.

I felt like I was playing a hyper realistic version of Assassin's Creed. In the game I would always ride to the pyramids and then just walk around and imagining that's exactly how it looked around that time. Love that game! Great video. I subbed.

The silence was awesome, and the video clearly gives you a sense of the grandeur and immensity of this incredible place. My only annoyance was with the factoids that were continually disrupting the sense of peace that this video beautifully emits. That said, and after had visited Giza a few different times myself, this video is nearly perfect. Thanks...
